Had a great time, enjoyed Grand entry. The new pavilion was very nice. Made access to vendors and shaded seating for the festivities

One of a kind event highly recommended. Family friendly, safe family environment, educational and fun for everyone. Bus shutters available and dog friendly place. Will definitely bring the family back each year.

This year was our first year to go. We moved to Atmore a year ago, September. Last year was too wet for my disabled veteran husband. This year, we got to go and had a blast. Met some amazing people. Very respectful. Thank you for making our 1st experience a great one. Can't wait for next year and can't forget the walker or chairs so we can sit and watch the dancers. He can't climb, and we sat in the low bleachers, but others would stand in front of us, so we couldn't see. We just left.

Such talented, artistic, people all in one place! This is the highlight of my bucket list! I'm grateful for the educational tidbits we were given between dance competitors! I highly recommend this Cultural immersion for everyone!

A beautiful arena-I just wish we were able to see the PowWow...Bleachers really didn't expand the viewing area for folks...Dancers placed chairs in other areas, blocking up any area that could have been available....An open field would work so much better for this large of a gathering....My kiddos couldn't even enjoy the beauty of the dancers....

My heritage is Cherokee & so it was so good to spend time with all that was a part of my day there. The fancy dancers were my favorite!! Very enjoyable!!!

I've been joining the pow wow since a child and my favorite part is the dancers you can feel the culture through them . Food wise I recommend the Indian corn and Indian taco (like a taco but fry bread instead of tortilla ) . cotton candy art was a hit last year as well over 14 flavors 😄

My grandfather and I joined my daughter on a field trip for the south east festival. Everyone was so kind. We had the opportunity to meet native Americans from all over the United states and here stories passed down from generations. It was an amazing experience and an absolute must for a 2nd grade field trip!

Loved it and they were so organized. Parked you and shuttled you in and shuttled you back to your car.

We go to the powwow every year, it’s part of our Thanksgiving holiday.

What a great way to spend Thanksgiving! Really enjoyed the competitions and yes, the shopping!
Con: If you are handicapped or have difficulty walking or sitting plan on getting there early. They provide bleachers for the crowd which are not always an option for someone who has mobility issues. The available seating was insufficient for the crowd and it was very cramped.
Could not find handicapped parking.

Love the Pow Wow but definitely need more bleachers for seating. People pushing in front and standing in front of those who had been waiting. The schedule needs to be moved along also. Took too long for princess contest and started dances way later than scheduled. Loved food variety, hospitality, native dress and vendors.

Many tribes were represented from Canada and U.S. Singing, drumming, dancing, and princess contests all took place. There were demonstrations and hands on activity. Great food options and lots of shopping. After 2 days, the porta- potties were still clean and stocked. Nice, clean, good people and place!
