Very good food and service. My husband had the spaghetti and I had liver and onions and both were very tasty.

First time visit. Celebrated my granddaughter’s first birthday there. Food was very good and service was great and friendly! Will definitely be back!

This place is very cozy. Nice little sit down diner with all day breakfast. The staff was kind and the service was fast. I would totally recommend going and checking this place out!

I had the breakfast horseshoe with an extra side of hash browns. Portions were large and well worth the money (which if I may add is cheaper than some places around).

Stopped for a late breakfast with family. Place was busy, but service was good, and so was the food. The house-made hot sauce is fantastic; we bought a bottle to take home.

This restaurant takes over from the former Farm House restaurant. Now in it's 5th month of being open to I was finally able to go inside. Very nice atmosphere warm greeting staff and the owner who frequently walks the restaurant make this a relaxing place and make you feel welcome. I ordered a special off the offered choices instead of diving into the menu which had many more options. The food came in a relatively fast time nice and hot and tasted as good as it looked. Not disappointed at. I will be back and tackle the menu next.

These people are great. The workers are dedicated and hold very well against the rush hour. The food is exactly what you hope for (albeit somewhat greasy, but what isn't?) and the energy of the place is very warm and welcoming. My only gripe would be that there's no booths, but it's understandable, given the size.
If you come to Shelbyville for the view, you should absolutely grab a bite here. They even have a cute train!

Wife and I make it there every weekend. Food is good, as well as good portions. Owner is the best and very friendly. If you're close and need good food? Stop in, you won't be disappointed!

Had supper there. Fried chicken... perfectly cooked, fresh oil used. Had breakfast there this morning. Glad I ordered light cuz the servings are large. Definitely get what you pay for. Will eat there again if I'm ever through this area

I recently visited Lakeview Family Restaurant and I had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere and the skillet was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming atmosphere.

Incredible well run family restaurant. Mexican skillet was amazing and enough for two people. Very busy on a Sunday morning and the service was fast, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend! A rare treasure.

My wife and I were in town for a medical consultation at Good Shepherd Hospital and were looking for a good breakfast place when we were done. We stopped in and were immediately greeted by friendly workers and immediately seated. I had the Lakeview omelet and my wife had a bacon and eggs traditional breakfast. The food was really good and the service was outstanding. We will definitely return to the Lakeview when in town again!

Stopped by for lunch after visiting Lake Shelbyville Visitors Center. Very good food and service. Will definitely be back.

I have eaten here 3 times now and I must say the food here is awesome. BBQ Ribs are excellent, Beef Manhatans are great, really good spaghetti. This place does it all. Also the customer service is the best you will find anywhere. Very "hometown" touch. The Taco Salad is also very very good, and they do breakfast very well. This is one of the best places around!!

The Staff was kind, prompt, and attentive. Restaurant & restrooms were clean. Food also did not disappoint. We had breakfast and dinner there 2 times. Portions were great. Specials were delicious. Prices were also good & reasonable. We would for sure return to Lakeview for a meal any time!

Enjoyed a New Years breakfast of steak and eggs. The entire meal was perfectly cooked and so delicious. The menu is huge and a great price. The waitresses were very nice and helpful. Restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. We plan on going back soon to try the dinner menu. No complaints

This place is small but their food is really good. They are only open for breakfast and lunch but they do both very well. I really like their tried chicken from the buffet... Super moist and flavorful. Also had some of their roast beef... Super good. I didn't expect this small a place to have such quality good. Super glad they do. Planning on visiting as soon as I'm back in Shelbyville. If you are in the mood for home cooking... Eat here. Reminds me of Grandma's old fashioned food. This place is located right across from the dam.
