Beautiful views and great variety of seating along the pier, children friendly seating. Plenty of wonderful shops and eateries nearby, plus information about fish.

We loved this Boardwalk😁 We walked it daily on our trip, maybe more😁 It is very peaceful, fun, and relaxing. It has child and adult artwork displayed, done by locals. You can see seals and sea otters swimming in the water. Watch people crabbing. See the boats. View the Lighthouse and Jetty. It has picnic tables and a enclosed picnic shelter. Tip, walk all the way down to the bridge and see the seals hanging out, chilling on the rocks. There is a picnic table there next to the sandy shore too. We love it.

We found some blackberries growing in a empty lot just off the boardwalk and they were sweet.

Bandon Boardwalk is a favorite place for me. Nice wood carvings, artwork, food, boats, smell of the sea. Weekdays are easier to navigate thru town.

It is a very Great place to visit. Bandon is a quiet and relaxing town. There is a dock for catching crabs. The best time to catch the crabs is starting from August until the end of the year. Also, normally, crabs will come a few hours before the high tide, so if you want to experience catching crabs, you should be there a few hours before the high tide. Catching crabs needs to be patient. Sometimes you can get a lot of that, and sometimes not. It is depending on luck as well. The good bait is chicken. There are two ways of catching it by using net or cage. The net is normally supposed to leave around 15mins, while the cage should leave around one hour. While harvesting it, you can enjoy the view and flying seagulls around the dock. Talking about the seagulls, please be careful with you bait. They will come to eat the chicken. It was my great experience catching crabs. We did not get many, but four for our dinner with the whole family. I recommend everyone to try it. But do not forget, you need the license to catch the crabs. Hope you have a great experience too and have a nice holiday.

Had a great lunch here, the local shops serve up delicious seafood sandwiches which can then be enjoyed on the board walk while watching for seals.
