Star Valley Health | Alpine Clinic + Urgent Care

My family is very grateful to have this clinic so close. Also, the extra weekend hours that it is open have helped us to not have to go to the ER or drive all the way to Idaho Falls. The doctors, nurses and receptionist are always very nice. Thank you for doing such a great job!

Very impressed with the clinic and caregivers! We full time RV so finding excellent medical care as we travel across the country can sometimes be challenging. I feel very fortunate that we were able to go to Star Valley Health this morning and get my needs taken care of. Beautiful clinic!!

Showed up 30 minutes before they closed for the day and weekend and we received fantastic care for our toddler! Thank you all very much for the great attentive care!

Had to go today, as I woke up with a terrible sore throat. I saw Dr. Mark Larsen . He took a throat culture and within 5 minutes he diagnosed me and called in a prescription. I really appreciated their kindness, promptness and concern for my well being.
Meredith was sweet as well as all the staff.

Very nice staff. Clean facility. Did not wait long at all. Dr. Henry listened & did not question or doubt anything that I said & actually listened to me. Wonderful experience.

Great physicians. Awesome staff. Dr. Sharp took time to understand my health issues. And Wayne always has something to say that makes me smile.

Clean facility, friendly and competent staff! They're absolutely great! I felt a whole lot better after being treated by Dr. Mark Larsen.

I felt entire staff listened well

My son had an accident on a Sunday evening (5/18/23). We were afraid he had cut an artery in his foot so we rushed him to SVH Alpine. I called ahead of time to let them know we were on our way. The front desk lady was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She said, "Uhm, we closed at 7." I told her, "Well, good thing it's not 7 yet. We are on our way and will be there before 7." She told me we would never make it and they couldn't see us. I started to panic and asked her, "we have a medical emergency, my son could bleed to death and you're telling me you can't see us?! Do we need to go on to Jackson?" She put me on hold for several minutes. When she came back on she said her provider would see us if we were there by 7. We pulled up BEFORE 7, walked in and the same front desk lady said, "Excuse me, I have to re-start all of my programs." She acted very put out and disgusted. She kept complaining about us being there and was very snarky with us. I finally told her, "Look, lady, sorry to put you out. I offered to take my son to Jackson and you said if we were here by 7 you'd see us. Well, we were here by 7." She responded with, "well, I never heard you say that." Because apparently she would have turned us away if she had. Although she tried to turn us away as it was. This woman should not be in the healthcare field. Next time my child has an accident, I'll make sure they do it earlier in the day as to not put a burden on the only healthcare facility in Alpine.
On another note, the 2 nurses and doctor were amazing, so thank you for that. I understand it had been a long day and you were all very tired. We appreciated you stitching up our child.

Really makes me sad to say they failed me as a patient. I have a respiratory disease from being exposed to asbestos and get bronchitis throughout the year. I went in to be treated for that, which they treated me for prior. They wanted to send me to the back where they test for covid virus. My regular Dr says if I get the virus my statistics of survival are not good. They wanted me to go through where they could potentially expose me. I found it sad NOONE COULD SEE THE FOREST FROM THE TREES. They just heard respiratory and panicked. Irresponsible at best. SAD FOR THEM AS WELL SINCE I GET BRONCHITIS MANY TIMES A YEAR...I HAVE GOOD INSURANCE AND THEY DIDN'T WANT TO SEE I COULD BE A GOOD CUSTOMER. SAD.

There are a couple of wonderful nurses here. The doctors on the other hand will do anything they can to make money off you and don't care about you personally whatsoever.

Very poor staff. Not clean environment and don’t care about their patients health concerns.
