Elk River Campground

This is a great place to stay at an amazing price! Management was awesome, and was always around. They were quick to fix any issues that came up and were so kind. It is family run and the surroundings are really gorgeous. We were parked right by the river. Everyone at the park was super friendly. We used the laundry facilities frequently and without any issues. There isn’t a lot of cell service, but we used our cell signal booster and had no issues! It’s right up the road from Cape Blanco State Park, Ray’s grocery store, and a laundry mat. It is dog friendly as well! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through or looking to visit the area!

Really nice place to camp. Took our dog and tent and they let us camp pretty much anywhere. Friendly staff and residents. Very quiet. I slept really well. Pretty clean bathrooms/showers. We didn't get a chance to go to the river but heard it's nice down there. All of the other campground were full and I'm actually glad we stayed there and not some other place where you have to wait in line to use the shower and everyone's packed like sardines. This will be my new spot to camp when I come up here from now on!

Our favorite place to stay in Port Orford. At least Two Annual trips! They’re so kind & generous. Great little river and before Covid free ice machine. Fish cleaning station. Free showers. Clean bathrooms. Laundry available as well.

We went to this place on Christmas. Clean facility, good price, nice hosts who give us good advise on fishing. It may be not good enough for tent camp, but we do spend a great time there sleeping in our car(prius). GREAT GREAT VIEW IF YOU DRIVE EAST INTO THE MOUNTAIN!

Campground, pretty much find a place and set up camp. They have bathroom and shower (very nice and hot if you like a hot one), common area with microwave, books, etc. The manager was super friendly. Keep in mind, if you arrive after hours, just camp and pay the next day. Office opens @10am.
Btw, SUPER CHEAP.

What began as a two-day layover has turned into two-weeks (and my extend longer!!). The Elk River RV Campground is outstanding -- great facilities, beautiful location and about as nice a people as you could ever imagine -- they are like next door neighbors (if you have really good next door neighbors!!) I have been traveling now for almost 6 weeks and 5000 miles -- the Elk River RV Campground is the nicest and best place I have been fortunate to have stayed. I cannot say enough about the place and the people that run it -- they and the campground get Clark's (me) 5-Star Rating! Do yourself a favor, stop in, try it and I know you will agree ----- anyone who suggests otherwise must not have stayed here --- it just great!!

Best showers in the state of Oregon. Great gravel bar to launch boats, fish, pan for gold and covered with agates. More of a RV park than a campground, but everyone was friendly and quiet. Definitely the best choice for camping in the area.

I was super sceptical to start, but this place captured my heart. Beautiful, clean facilities for great rates! The shower stalls even had drop-down shelves for keeping your clothes items off the floor! Genius!

Great prices, super friendly hosts and guests that live here. Clean and the view is beautiful. 8 mins away from Port Orford so super convenient if you forgot any supplies.

It's RV camping, but they have a spots for tent. We were the only ones who were with tent there. There was a large field in front of us, great to come with dogs. They also have hot showers.

Wonderful people. A little tight for "Big Rigs" but we made it just fine. The internet was outstanding! We will go back when in the area.

Well we stay here couple months a year,wonderful staff,who will go out of their way for you.
This is a great place for family,and kids.

$20 for a tent site with nice showers, bathrooms and laundry machines! Staff was kind and very accommodating.

Beautiful area. Nice clean campsites aesy access to elk river basin.

Redwood Trees and community gardens. A couple of good nights sleep and a Stellars Jay outside my door.

Wonderful owners and beautiful outdoor scenery. I would recommend highly.
