Lucas Lodge

These folks are awesome!!! I am just one of MANY firefighters they fed breakfast AND dinner to while on the Flat fire. The food there is phenomenal and the people were incredible as well. I will definitely be returning here to visit when I'm not out on fires. Thank you all for your hospitality. You guys completely rocked it!!!💯🔥❤☺

Came up here to help out miss Jen, who was feeding 150+ firefighters on the flat fire, twice a day. Miss Jen, Bobby, jazz, rj, Kyle, Scott, Marcus, moose and many more, were amazing!! So friendly and welcoming even though they were running on fumes. The property is gorgeous! Can't wait to come back as a guest!9

This has and always will be an amazing place. The Lucas family are amazing hosts and always accommodating. The landscape is beautiful, and untamed, and the accommodations a rare step back in time. Its almost hard to want to share this little piece of Pacific Northwest Heaven. Looking forward to being back soon.

Jen and Bobby make Lucas an added amazing experience. The lodge truly has character and insurmountable amounts of history. The property alone you can get lost on (in a good way) and is kid friendly too right next door to a playground. A short walk to the river which sits on great fishing water this place is hard to beat! Jen’s hospitality and homemade cooking specifically we will be coming back for. No doubt a hidden gem of Oregon if you haven’t been you should put it on your list of places to stay!

I recently stayed at Lucas Lodge with a group of friends on a winter steelhead/reunion fishing trip. I can not say enough good things about this rustic lodge and the family feeling that Jen and Bobby create. The food is amazing, the setting is incredible and the hospitality is off the charts. I can't wait to go back next year. A special call out to Jen for always creating a diabetic friendly desert for me ;-).

I’m part of a haphazard crew of steelheaders that recently had our fourth annual get together based at Lucas Lodge. The place is great, the rooms clean and comfy, but it’s Jen and Bobby that make the place. Meals are delicious and more than plentiful, everything is covered, from breakfast to river lunches to wonderful dinners. It’s a trip I look forward to every year, and I already can’t wait for the next.

Lucas Lodge is a beautiful oasis, located steps away from the Lower Rogue. Jen and Bobby have created a welcome, warm atmosphere for people of all ages to enjoy. The beautiful scenery and history in the area must be experienced. The most difficult part was a leaving and waiting for the next trip to Lucas. Thank you Jen and Bobby for your incredible hospitality.

It was my second trip to Lucas Lodge with a group of friends for some winter steelhead fishing. Love this place. It feels like home. Its a fabulous setting ,great fishing, great food! Jen and Bobby are great hosts and I couldn't recommend it more. Try it you'll like it !!!

I recently enjoyed my second multi-night stay at the Lucas Lodge. As with the first, Jen and Bobby went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay: delicious food, comfortable and clean lodging, and gracious hosting. The atmosphere is low-key and accommodating, but the service and experience is top-notch. Highly recommended. Bring your sweatpants for after-dinner wear :)

I look forward to our Lucas Lodge trip all year long. Jen and Bobby do such a wonderful job of making us feel at home. From the clean cabins, delicious meals, packed riverside lunches and vehicle shuttles, Jen and Bobby do it all. I truly love this place.

Lucas Lodge hosted our winter steelhead trip. Everything was great! Jen and Bobby made sure we were well taken care of from meals and river shuttles to hosting an awesome fiesta taco night!

This place is in such a beautiful setting. We had a cabin by the pond with gorgeous views. The family style meals are a great experience to meet others as well as enjoy delicious home cooked meals. The family is very sweet and accommodations are very nice. Love the old ranch house and really it was just an amazing stay. We enjoyed nature hikes and relaxing on the Rogue river. Cannot recommend enough, will be back again.

Great hospitality and a wonderful fried chicken dinner with green beans, biscuits,
and seasonal fresh vegetables. We eat here every time we take jet boats up the Rogue River as it is the best food served family style. We have been there 5 times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend stopping at Lucas Lodge for their wonderful homemade fried chicken dinner. You will not be disappointed. We always leave with a smile on our face.

We took a day trip to Agness and found this gorgeous lodge. Jennifer, our host, was a wonderful and kind lady who was nice enough to make us milkshakes, give us a tour of the lodge and let our dogs roam the grounds. Don't forget to take the walk down to the river. You will not be disappointed if you stop here for the day or go stay awhile and enjoy their fried chicken.

Jennifer is the BEST! Found it accidently and are so happy we did. So much interesting history and things to explore. This is the Real Deal if you want personal attention in a Lodge! I am NOT overselling this. Please see for yourself!

Back in Wales UK, rain washing out the Ryder Cup. Very Good food at Lucas lodge and enjoyed the family atmosphere. The only thing, Jam and chicken dinner must be an American thing.

Great time and made us feel like home

I seriously cannot stop thinking about this place, loved every minute of my stay there back in July this year. The food was delicious and enjoyed walking the grounds that were peaceful and equally beautiful. Hope to come visit again some day!

I didn't stay! I stopped to ask some questions about the area and the people made me feel very welcome and answered all my questions! It was a good time and I think that I might go and stay next time.
