Yankee Doodle's Cafe

Excellent food and service! The decor was amazing! All around freedom and 2 A. Super fun place to stop on our road trip. The waitress was such a delight and had conversation with her. She was so kind to our kiddo and went above and beyond helping him and was patient with him asking her a million questions.

Good food. Good prices (best in town, comparatively). Excellent service. Somebody please go work there. They're struggling to fill open positions, working double shifts, and running to keep up. But still they treat you like you're important and valued. I hope they can hire more good folks soon. Anyway, it seemed like all the other customers were regulars, based on how the staff was treating them. That's an endorsement right there.

Exactly what you think a small town cafe looking in the country. Every friendly staff and all the customers were the locals. Great place to stop on your way up to Jackson.

Honestly, I don't know how there could be a review less than 5 stars for this place. The food is OUTSTANDING. We've been back twice. The reuben sandwich is amazing, as is the patty melt and cheeseburger. The service is SUPER friendly. We had our dog with us both times and they accommodated him although he is extremely well behaved anyway. He made other diners smile. And the decor is adorable! We enjoyed reading all the signs and plaques. If a patriotic theme "offends" you, then don't come. Or close your eyes. But you will miss out on a wonderful slice of Americana and a GREAT meal.

Service is good. The dinner special smelled the freedom, and tasted like liberty. Brought tears of joy and pride. I couldn't finish it because portions are great.

This was the best food we have had since we have been in wyoming. Amazing customer service and well worth the money which was by far the best prices for great food. Sorry but no pic of the bacin chedder burger it was delicious.

Was here before. The place is great!! Passing through after Sturgis 75th annual party. Stayed overnight across the street in trailer park and met owner as he served tables with his American flag coated side arm. Now nice Waitress said they sold 2 years ago and moved to Arizona. Wonder if he and the misses opened a restaurant 🤔
Side note ordered chicken noodles soup. Not homemade and do not recommend. Waitress said it is just really "good" I respectfully disagree 😁👍🇺🇲 should have got a patty melt. Lol

Great hometown place to eat. I'd have stayed all afternoon at the bar if we didn't have a plane to catch!

Great small-town cafe. The fried chicken sandwich is excellent. Staff is friendly and relaxed. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the love for our country!

What a wonderful, friendly find.
The only place in town for a sit-down breakfast as far as we could tell.
EXTREMELY friendly service (thank you!), and enjoyable American decor. The little details are appreciated (red and blue sugar flecks mixed into the white sugar). We especially appreciate the coffee carafe being left at the table to consume at our own pace. And, hey! We had cell signal (their sign says free wifi as well).

Did I mention the food is good - AND affordable?!?

This place was awesome. We stopped after not being able to find a place in Jackson. I had the fish and chips and Holly had the chicken tenders. The sauces were greta and the staff and servers were very friendly for our late dine in. I don't have any pics but this small town vibe restaurant was exactly what we needed for our last meal of a 3200 mile road trip from NC to SLC UT.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. It is definitely a must to stop by. The food was amazing and the wait staff was awesome. It's an all American restaurant that salutes america in it's decor. Loved it.

Quick Service.The best hamburger and fries in town!!Trucker size portions parking to the north of this building loops around the back for larger vehicles.There is a coffee shop attached for specialty coffees and drinks the owners are hard working people who care you have a great experience. Tables for groups.

Love coming here when in the area, and love all the signs inside the Cafe. Good food and unique atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Maybe the most patriotic establishment I have stepped foot in.
Alpine is a very small town and from what I understand this place was the only one serving breakfast that morning.
We went to Alpine for a reggae show at Melvin Brewing on Saturday and came here to eat before we left on Sunday.
They stop serving breakfast at 12:00. Sadly between us running late and how busy they were we missed being able to order breakfast.
The food was good.
I thought the staff did well considering they were overwhelmed.
Would love to go back next time I'm in town to try more of the menu.

Stopped here for a quick bite as my husband & I drove from Wyoming to Utah. The Clam Chowder soup was quite honestly the best Clam Chowder Soup I’ve ever had (including in Maine)!! The burgers were very good and the sweet potato waffle fries were great. Super nice waitress (wish I could remember her name). Food came out quickly. And the restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend you try this place!

This place is FABULOUS. Real old time diner on the road between Jackson and Salt Lake City (which is a stunning drive by the way). Great food (burgers are v good, so are the sandwiches), friendly staff, and copious amounts of amusing Americana. Don't miss it!
