Upper Rogue River Park

I love this place, I don't care much for park fees especially when all we do is sit and watch the river or eat our lunch and leave. But this is the first place my now fiancee and I hung out, almost 3 years ago. Shared our first kiss there, ate countless lunches, and watched a bunch of wild, untamed adrenaline junkies float down the rogue with nothing but the moonlight. No flashlight, nothing just straight moonlight. We saw a random bicyclist fly into a bush in front of us, telling us he was fine and came back out dazed and confused 5 min later. Many great times had at the park over the years. Including getting kicked out by a sheriff, and letting us know they close at dusk. Haha
It is a place we go when all else fails and we need some down time. :)

Great place for a picnic. Lots of shade trees and a little beach with shallow calm water for kids and pups.

Briefly parked my car in parking area. Overlooking the river to read my Bible and enjoy some quiet time, The park is always kept clean without trash thrown about.

Festival on the Rogue that is held every year the first weekend in June was awesome I volunteer for it I'm generally a vendor to this year I volunteered I had a great wonderful time the park is beautiful it's right on the Rogue River you can dock your boats they gave free raft raffle tickets for free raft ride down the Rogue River it was so awesome lots of vendors wonderful job done I love the park

We were there on a beautiful clear day. The gift shop was run by friendly people. A must stop historical place you should visit.

Cozy well shaded park right along the Rogue River in Shady Cove. A beautiful place to simply relax, meditate or enjoy lunch.

So much fun... Water is only about 4 feet deep and clear.

Great RV spot's and full hookups . I live right down the road from here and we still take are RV here to camp.

Great setting for kids, families and dogs. Has a boat ramp with picnic tables.

Its the river, what more do i have to say than that. Love to fush it, float it or just look at it.
