If you are looking for a place to unwind and enjoy nature . Then the DuPont lodge will not disappoint. Spend your day walking any of the 12 hiking trails. I recommend trails 4 & 6. While your there check out Cumberland and Eagle falls. It is also a great place to take your dog all of the trails except one allow pets. The lodge is also pet friendly. The sunset rise and Sunsets are incredible. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this trip. We had no cell service but the WiFi worked very well.

The cabin we stayed is was ok. The bed was hard, the window over the bed had a huge draft. And the cable and Internet did not work. I would say it was quite but they were out blowing leaves at 9am.

Older but great place to spend couple of nights. The Falls are REAL CLOSEBY (like 4-5 miles) and SPECTACULAR! The view at night from out back of the river is fantastic also! After lunch say, because sun sets behind and lights up the river view below! See pics

Beautiful 81 year old hotel. This is a state resort so don't expect updated rooms like the for-profit chains. Everything was clean and the staff really nice. The view from the rear veranda of the river and mountains was spectacular! We stayed in the actual lodge in the king room with a living area and pull out sofa. It had 2 bathrooms and a 3 chair dining table. A fridge was available but no microwave in room. There was a microwave at the coffee station in the front area. This was a neat room room and would work well when traveling with kids.

The lodge is beautiful! As a younger couple, the style of the lodge rooms is very "classic"- they have kept an older look/style to the rooms, but it was clean and comfortable. If you have the option, upgrade to a lodge room overlooking the river- it's worth it! The view was amazing and waking up seeing that view was so peaceful! The only con I have was that the dining hall was closed for lunch and dinner during both days we stayed, and it was quite a drive to the nearest town to get food.

The room was clean and furnished nicely, towels were soft and fluffy. The door to the room was hard to open, so I had to give it a good shove. Would definitely go back.

This lodge is so cool. Brenda at front desk was so sweet. Bummer no fridge in room, but someone brought me a one to use. The place is clean, and quaint. Breakfast was not very good, need some better food. The hikes are great. Thank you for a good trip.

We stayed in one of the cottages and not in the lodge itself. Rooms were clean and updated. Great location for the falls and day trips to parts of Daniel Boone National Forest and Big South Fork. Complimentary breakfast for guests at the lodge restaurant, located on lower level.

We absolutely love it there!!! This is our second year coming back. Already made reservations for next year. From the minute you pull up it’s absolutely beautiful! The inside is just as pretty! The rooms may be a little outdated …but that’s what makes it perfect. So relaxing, and the views are breathtaking. The staff is wonderful! Especially Angel the second shift night desk. She answers all questions, always polite, and always had a smile. We stayed busy with everything that was around us. From Cumberland Falls, to the trails, and just going into Corbin. The Inn is our little paradise! Can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel like home!

Its a little dated but the rooms are cozy and the beds are comfy.
The area around the lodge is beautiful and it's close to Cumberland Falls (either drive or hike .75 miles).

There's a really pretty view from the back of the lodge.

Going in, understand it is a State Park Lodge/Resort. I say this because it is a very old school feel. We visited for a good place to sleep that was convenient to hiking in the area. The staff was so nice, and accommodating. The facility was clean and nessicities were available.
There is a restaurant on site that has reasonable hours and prices, the food was just okay, but the service was 5 stars!
I can not express how wonderful the employees were.

We didn't stay at the lodge, but we did eat here.
The decor is classic and interesting. The staff is amazingly courteous and helpful.
The food in the restaurant was delicious. I am not usually in favor of buffets, but this was an exception. Staff kept it clean and came around often to offer drink refills.
Perfect for families.

We enjoy the old lodge, buffet, last but not least, the patio.

I had read some bad reviews and after our stay at the lodge I don’t think they know what they were talking about. The breakfast was as good as you get at any restaurant if not better. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Juice, milk, coffee and cereal was available. The cost is included in your nights stay. We will make plans to visit again.

Very nice little hotel. It's getting a bit old, but we aren't high maintenance. This place has a lot of character. The staff is very friendly. It's clean. Quiet. Private. The view from our room was fantastic. Breakfast was very good. And the little trail behind the hotel was cool to explore.

Nice, homey feel....I was in one of the Woodland cabins, which are nice for a State Park.

Stopped at the DuPont Lodge to get a State Park Junior Explorer Patch for our little girl. What a cool place 😎! We were able to explore the lobby and we went out to the back patio and was treated with a breathtaking view. There were delicious aromas coming from the on site restaurant too. We have already decided we are going to look into staying here very soon.

It's a beautiful and picturesque place where you can relax and de-stress. It's really old fashioned and if that's what you're after you won't go wrong in choosing this place.

It's a bit over 10 miles from i75 of the first Corbin exit (heading north).

I really enjoyed the open fire (gas unfortunately not wood burning). The reception area has two of them with a lot of chairs/couches for sitting around and relaxing.
