AFC Urgent Care Roanoke

Excellent clinic!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager was doing a great job assisting front and back staff with anything they needed. Provider (tall older gentleman) I think his name was Wilton, was very efficient and kind to me. I was in and out quickly and was able to continue with my day. I highly recommend this clinic!

We found this walk in clinic on line when my wife needed to be seen on trip from Florida to Boaton. The staff were very friendly & efficient in getting her what she needed & even sent her prescription to the nearby pharmacy. Very much recommend them when your in need of urgent care.

Great Service….I feel like I avoided 3 or 4 separate appointments with one stop. Wilton seemed very thorough, empathetic, and skilled in his approach. The urinalysis, X-ray, and ear cleaning were all done professionally and the results were prompt. 10/10

I had a great experience at AFC on Brandon. I got in very quickly. Everyone was very nice. Especially Latoya the PA. She made me very comfortable. Explained everything to me. Was gentle and funny, with a soothing voice. I would highly recommend them!

I went to get tested for the flu. My whole visit only lasted 1 hour from beginning with the paperwork to leaving. The front desk ladies were very nice, and the PA that did my tests was very caring to how bad I was feeling, and was open and honest about my treatment options. With UHC insurance I was limited to what local area urgent cares were in-network, I’m so glad I chose this one. I’m sure if this flu doesn’t go away soon I’ll be back to see them.

Made an appointment online and registered before I got there. Although, a more urgent walk-in can move your place in line they were still very quick to see me. Every staff member I encountered was polite and kind. I hope I don’t need to go to Urgent care again but, they will definitely be my first choice.

Very fast and efficient staff. They took great care of me offering an ice pack for my awful toothache. I loved how they limit the waiting room if they get too full they finished up those patients before taking more. I was in and out in 45min including my wait time.

Awesome visit. Greeted by a very caring and concerned lady who was happy to assist in any way! Paperwork went quickly and I was immediately taken back to get triaged and into the the doc’s room. He was very thorough in his explanations and knew exactly what needed to happen. I came in tears and left smiling with almost instant relief, on my way to get the scripts filled.
I was fortunate to come in around four o’clock right before their evening rush but I will certainly return if I ever need urgent care.
The other urgent care I have always used blew me off and said I could come & ‘try’ tomorrow, they weren’t taking any more patients and still had 4 hours before closing. So wait 16 hours in pain and I should ‘try’ to get in to see someone tomorrow! That organization (on every corner) has gotten way too big to give personal service when it is really necessary.
Thanks AFC, you have my future treatment if I ever need something else. I will certainly recommend you to all my friends. 5 Stars plus!

We always have excellent care here. They are thoughtful and thorough. My daughter has many severe health issues, AFC has always been willing to help her or pointed us in the direction of doctors that could. We will continue to go to AFC.

Took my 5 year old here for an ear infection and cough. Front desk ladies were super nice and sweet! The doctor he saw was absolutely awesome! He was so sweet to my son and really seemed like he enjoyed his job. He’s very good with children. Thanks for making my son and I feel comfortable!

I was in absolute agony with a back issue. The team was compassionate and professional. They really took care of me and helped me understand what was going on with the back issue. They accommodated me as quickly as they could and I really could not have had a better experience considering I was in possibly the worst pain of my life.

I wasnt feel well but from the get go the receptionist Nicole was inviting and efficient. when i got called back for triage Brittany and beatrice made me feel comfortable. I witnessed a patient that needed “urgent care” that had a serve bleeding cut and it only took less then a minute for them to attend to him and get him back for treatment. i have been to several urgent care places unfortunately and this experience has been my best thus far. I highly recommend this facility if your are in need of medical care.

I highly recommend this urgent care. The entire staff was friendly and treated me with respect. I was able to make an appointment online and fill out my paperwork as well so when I arrived for my appointment I didn’t have to wait long.

The staff was really great. They were very honest about everything happening, even if there was a 2-hour wait. Everything was clean. And Doctor Abigail Lapid was so amazing. She let me know exactly what she was doing and every little detail. She also asked permission to do things so that I would be comfortable. We also share something in common! I highly enjoyed it there.

They saw me very quick. The providers were so nice and kind, honestly nicer than my PCP. They listened, we’re respectful and timely and I was out within the hour!

Made appt through web site to “save a spot” It worked like a charm. Arrived, signed paperwork and sat down for about 5 minutes and were then taken back to Triage and then taken back to our room where we were seen. Had X-rays completed by a delightful person who was very thoughtful of my age and condition. It took a bit for the xrays to be read but we were given. a CD of the X-rays and also e mails for each one that gave us the results. Each person on the staff was friendly and helpful. Glad I went there. Also accepted my insurance. Great place.

I had to come here three times in a week for Covid test (was positive but needed a negative to get back to work but it was lingering). They were slammed and admitted it. I was given a long wait time, two hours, twice. Both times I was in and out within an hour and a half. The first was even shorter. Considering the season of sickness they were amazing. Staff was friendly, and thorough.

This is on top when I’ve been in for sinus infections over the last couple of years and a couple of other things that occurred over the weekends. They also provided excellent care then as well and always had a less wait time than other urgent cares closer to me. They are worth the minor drive.

Great care with welcoming staff. After completing my registration forms online before being seen, I was able to walk in to the clinic and didn’t have to wait very long. The PA that I saw was thorough and explained things to where I understood them. 5/5 or 10/10. Definitely recommend!

I always go to AFC when I need an Urgent Care appointment. The Staff always friendly and efficient, and the NP is awesome. My meds are submitted quickly so when I leave I have my meds ready to pick🥰 usually it’s a waiting game, AFC you rock!

My favorite urgent care. I should probably get a a primary doctor lol but I'm almost a year without a cigarette and 3 months sober thanks to their help. They truly care about their patients and grow relationships over the years making the care they give personal and exceptional.
