Ione Chinese Restaurant

My visit at Ione Chinese Restaurant was spectacular. Me and my family of 4 all ordered lunch. I had the General Tso's Chicken lunch (photo), which also came with rice, fried wonton, and egg flower soup. The chicken tasted phenomenal - crunchy texture, great flavor, everything about it. The rice was great, too. The soups tasted a little odd, but nothing I wouldn't eat. Service was okay. For $11-13, you get a lot of food (during lunch special). If you're not a big eater, you can definitely share one lunch plate.

Highly recommend Ione Chinese Restaurant, especially during lunch!

First time trying this place and I'd say it was fantastic but a tad oily. It definitely was the comfort food I was looking for. Must try all the stuff on the menu.

We ordered take out. We ordered 3 dishes and soup. Everything was perfection. Orange chicken was some of the best I have had.

The food is great!!! The service is so and so only when the waitresses are talking to each other. They would rather talk to each other than help guests when they arrive or if you want to get the bill to leave. But the food is worth it!

The food is delicious my only complaint is all of the juice runs out of the to go containers and gets all over everything. Huge mess

I ordered chow fun and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. Service was exceptional and genuine.

Such a wonderful place. Great prices and the best Chinese by far. This is the noodles and sizzling plate. A variety of many items. It is so very flavorful.

Friendly and fast service. Beef Chow Fun, Vegetable Chow Mein, Ma Po Tofu and BBQ Pork Fried Rice were very good. Sesame chicken and honey walnut shrimp were also very good. Shrimp Chow Fun is delicious.

30 min drive is worth their food quality!

I must say our 2nd experience ordering here was definitely better than our first. The lady who helped was super nice, patient and went over different options I had for questions.i ended up ordering by dish instead of the dinner per person options which were good but you can't swap out chow mein for fried rice and im feeding a pregnancy craving tonight 😁 food was prepped and ready to go faster than I thought it would be and tastes so good! The only thing I could say was I was the mandarin chicken which was on the menu as spicy wasn't as spicy as I'd hoped but still cooked well

Had dinner with my family of 7 and received quick service. Our general chicken was perfectly cooked and coated in sauce, the broccoli beef was delicious, the honey walnut was crunchy and saucy without being nauseatingly sweet, the chowmein and fried rice was moist and both had a good combination of meat and vegetables. Our drinks were full the whole time and our needs were met.

We love Ione Chinese Restaurant, staff is friendly, service is fast, and food is great. We especially love the lemon chicken, chicken is half breaststroke fried fried whole and sliced with lemon sauce poured over. We had the egg Foo young for the first time at this restaurant, and my husband, who does not usually like egg foo young, enjoyed it. Easy, level parking too.

Love this place. The sampler platter comes with a fire to sear items to your liking. The pan fried noodles with sizzling plate is a must try. The hot and sour soup is the best I have had. Fantastic customer service.

Always a winner. Inside is small so be prepared to wait or go later for lunch.

Excellent food and service. Very quiet and clean. If you are a glutton for food, go here. The food kept coming, and I had to get 4 to-go boxes even after I ate. Well worth the price.

Absolute best Chinese restaurant. Not just in Amador County but ever! Chicken chow mein and the Sesame Chicken were sooooo good! Great flavor. Honey walnut shrimp and pork fried rice were also super tasty. The service was fast and friendly too.

Best Chinese I’ve had! Fresh shrimp, fresh veggies, I tasted my friend’s orange chicken and OMG that was hot and juicy in the middle and freshly crunchy on the outside. No nasty sickly feeling afterwards, plus the iced tea was oolong and OMG best iced tea I’ve had!

I don't know why I hadn't been here before, but I'm glad I did. I had the sesame chicken with pork fried rice, and hot and sour soup. The price was excellent, the food was delicious, and the service was on point! I'll be back again shortly, and I'm recommending this spot to as many people as I can. Come for lunch and dinner!

It's a great little place, glad we have it! I love the war Wonton soup very delicious!
