The lake is beautiful, really quiet you can rest well away from stress life, and the surrundings are not scary. This is a good place for families who want to go camping.

Needed to cool off and stretch our legs on our way to Bend, Oregon so we pulled in here for a few hours. Great little park to picnic for the day or camp overnight. Boat launch, fishing, swimming, clean bathrooms/showers, RV dump station. Dogs loved swimming in the river and so did we. Boat launch fee, day use and overnight fees, ALL VERY reasonable.

Awesome camping spot, clean bathroom building and a separate shower building ( it has potties in as well). Great security, beautiful view, quite, and peaceful. Only 4 dollars without a senior pass, veterans with a preferred veteran card are free

Small park with character. Clean restrooms, great access to river. Enroute parking always available, and open all night so no need to arrive by lights out. Few electric sites. Only sites 5-10 have electric hookups. Lots more tent sites and space for dry camping.

Love this place! Great place to camp and working showers the camp hosts are really nice unless you screw up then you will hear it for sure always be sure to pay or you will end up paying in the end..

Beautifully kept and quiet. There was only one other camper there when I was there. Reasonably priced. A bit off of i-5, but worth the trip in if it's getting late.

Nice ramp.... state park is kinda pricey for what they offer but all in all it's quiet and clean and the fishing isn't to bad around the ramp area

I was stunned when I came home for the first time after years away to find they had added stairs and beautified the levee. My heart will always be in Colusa. I'm proud to have been born and raised up in a community that takes such good care of one another. 530 for life.

Great auto drive tour. So many birds, unlike I have ever seen. Nobody else was there but I can't understand why because it was truly worth the side trip.

Great, clean campground. Gabriel (camp host) very friendly and helpful.

decent bathrooms with warm/hot water non-coined operated too ... Vince the Park host are very pleasant and polite people as well as very attentive to everyone they speak with ... it's an overall very well maintained park with a very pleasant, peaceful atmosphere even if the sun is not shining that day ... also, Colusa Casino is only a few miles away for a bit of gambling fun ... there is also some local stores on the other end of town as well and a laundromat too ... and lastly there's Jeff's Freeze which has the best tasting, really prompt and friendliest employees ive been too in quite a long time ... definitely try the ice cream cone!! oh and yes, there's also a very nice boat launch as well.

Nice place to visit and great fishing during the spring and fall everything from striped bass, salmon, sturgeon and also small mouth bass, can be caught. The boat ramp as been updated and very nice and easy to use and of course fishing from shore can be rewarding also huge parking lot with plenty of parking and of course the town of colusa is a place to also visit filled with great people and lots great restaurants in town not to far from Sacramento just north and cant forget about the colusa casino definitely a fun place also has great customer service and entertainment they have it all from video pocker slots and tables all in all it's a great little town to visit rather it's fishing enjoying the water ways shopping and dinning or feeling lucky at the casino it definitely seems like a town that offers a little enjoyment for everyone everything including a great farming community miles and miles of orchards and hay fields

My best ladies and I just found this place today. It's off the beaten path, quiet, secluded and we absolutely loved it. That will definitely be a new swimming spot for us.
