Riverbank Family Restaurant

The eggs come to your table exactly the way you ordered them. The waitress who brings them gives plenty of coffee and smiles. You are seated far from other customers and the restaurant is clean. These are just some of the good reasons to eat here. The view is terrific too.

Best fish n chips this side of the pond, (NO JOKE!!) BUT HURRY BECAUSE I HEARD (JUST THE OTHER DAY WHEN I HAD LUNCH WITH MY MOM) WE HEARD THE WAITRESS TELLING ANOTHER TABLE THAT THEY WHERE CLOSING SOON, CUZ SOMEONE BOUGHT THE PLACE!!

Under new ownership. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and they have a fantastic view of the river from the dining room. Has a cozy little dive bar attached. The staff is fun and friendly, the biscuits and gravy are delicious and I have never tasted a better pecan pie.

Surprisingly good food with a gorgeous view! The steak was tender and cooked correctly and the prawns were tasty. They accommodated my odd order with no problem and did well with an allergy. Only concern was the sauces might have had the allergen in it. Just be very clear about checking everything for an allergy and they should do well.

Just had dinner here. It was simply wonderful. I really liked the interior of the resturant, it reminded me of my grandparents cabin. Very clean and neat. Staff was very friendly and were quick to help. The food was very good and did not cost too much either about $14 per person. Portion sizes are generous and you will never leave here with an empty stomach! If you are looking for a nice place to grab some food on your trip I recommend stopping here! Beautiful views of the river as well!

After driving by many times over the years we finally stopped for the Friday night All you can eat Fish and Chips. Fish was amazing, hand battered to perfection. Being from Maine I am very picky about Clam Chowda but their home made is by far Maine worthy!!!!!!! Best I've had in a long time. Staff is so friendly and funny, prices are great. Definitely will be back to try more

We have eaten here twice. The dining room is tasteful, comfortable and enhances the meal. The staff is always top notch with great service and friendly greetings. The menu is full of hearty choices with reasonable prices. The food is always delectable!! I would recommend them with the highest level of confidence that you will have a great meal and pleasant dining experience!!

All you can eat fish and fries on Friday was great. We were driving through the area, and we got hungry. We are so glad we stop at this restaurant. The servers are very friendly. Will definitely visit this restaurant again.

The few times I have been here have been very memorable and pleasant. I love the nice, friendly, family-like atmosphere. The food is great as well as the menu. The view of the river is indescribable and part of what makes this restaurant special. The staff in it's entirety makes this place a home away from home.

Awesome food, traditional cafe style menu with a few signature items not found anywhere else locally, such as their Monte Cristo sandwich. The restaurant offers an exceptional atmosphere year round. A fantastic view of the river, along with cozy fireplaces and great decorations to enjoy during the holidays. Great cocktails too!

Very charming restaurant in the middle of nowheresville. Our waiter was extremely polite and charming and did a great job. The food is super cheap and the quality is that of a Denny's or a Shari's so you can get hamburgers, steak, salad, breakfast, sandwiches. Great view.

This is an awesome restaurant! The service is outstanding, polite, courteous, and helpful! Servers know the menu and ways to substitute strange requests (like sliced tomato instead of zucchini). The steak was PERFECTLY medium rare. It's hard to find restaurants that actually cook a steak properly. The option for country gravy on the mashed potatoes was definitely a bonus!

So friendly. Exceptional all you can eat fish dinner. The best fish I have ever had. 5 stars isn't enough for this place. Down home claim chowder is off the charts aunti says.

All you can eat fish and fries Friday night at 4:00. The best freaking fish you’ll ever have. With a house made hand battered fish you can’t go wrong. All the waitresses are the absolute sweetest.

The service and food has been great every time my wife and I have gone into eat and it doesn’t matter if it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

People were super accommodating to having a large group and we were running late and it was awesome. Great tood and drinks. The lady in the red jacket in the bar, just wanna say next time I am buying you a drink.

The food is soooooo good. The staff were also very very good. The only downside was the wait time but it was to be expected with how good the food was.

My friend and I stopped here after participating in a trail run (we walked). we came in tired, dirty, and hungry. we had a nice view of the river and the server was great, funny, and attentive. we felt very underdressed, but were welcomed all the same. this would be a wonderful date spot or girls night out place. If i lived in the area i'm sure i would come back.

Been there many times to have a cocktail in the lounge, but my wife and I decided that we wanted a relaxing lunch in the restaurant. The food was delicious our server was great and we loved the bi-level layout of the dining area and view of the river.
