I developed a whining noise in my Chevy Tahoe while drive north on I5. It was driving fine so I drive to the next town. Stopped at the Best Western in nowheresville. And was referred to Firebough Towing and auto repair in a near town. I got there right after 5oclock and they were getting ready to close. The receptionist introduced me to Eric the owner and he looks over at my Tahoe and sees my USMC hat on my dash and says "are you a Marine" I said yes Semper Fi. Well Eric was awesome. He had his guys finish up a truck they had on the rack and pulled mine right in. They did some tests and duplicated my concern. Unfortunately after removing the rear differential cover they found damage to the ring gear. He told me that parts availability might be an issue but get your stuff and put it in my truck and he took me to the small hotel in town. He told me he would check on parts and call me in the morning. Well I'm completely satisfied not only knowing I'm being taken care of but but one of my Marine brothers and his crew. I'm sure the rest of this day will be fine knowing that and the store next to the motel has a sign saying they sell fishing tackle and bait. I just gotta find the water. They have some of the best employees here. They are always helping and going beyond to make sure you have everything you need. From the reception to the mechanics always there to help you. 2023 and still great customer service.
2024, still having great customer service, Ben the owner doesn't run the place anymore, but his son is now in charge and still delivering great service. Overall, if you need a repair, this is the place to go. Cesar, the mechanic will find any problem you have and fix it.

This guy is Great. Great service.. All the way from pick up to drop off. He was fair on all charges and storage of my paperweight.. I will use again if ever in the area.

Our company truck broke down, 30 miles outside of Firebaugh (we were traveling from Texas to California for work). I called Firebaugh Towing, they were the best. Best in helpfulness, attitude, professionalism. They towed us in, got the necessary parts did the repair and got my guys back on the road in record time. We have had breakdowns in the past many years and always pay a huge price and been taken advantage of, this company took great care of us,They are top notch in our book . Thank you Firebaugh Towing!!!

Cesar towed us to the shop and he and Ben took great care of us! They stayed after hours to make sure we got back on the road and back to our vacation sooner than later. Thanks guys for making a not-so-fun-situation bearable! You’re the best!

Nothing like being broke down on the highway! Due to a bad A/C Compressor. The guys did an awesome job. Juan, Ben, Cesar thank you for your professionalism and hard work to ensure I get back on the road.

Would not recommend the use of this company if I could give them 0 stars I would, but to each their own do your research on them first. I ignored all the poor reviews since there is always people who try to bash businesses for no reason, well I was wrong. I called this company at exactly 4:33pm for a tow quote from Firebaugh to Madera, the secretary told me $150 I told her I’d give her a call back because I wanted to see if I’d find somewhere cheaper. I didn’t end up finding anything so I called them back at 4:59pm keep in mind I already called for the quote so I already knew what the charge was, I explained to her where I was never asked about the charge again since we already talked about it. Guy comes to pick up my truck, tells me we have to make a stop at their business because his boss (the owner) was going to do the tow no big deal that’s fine. The owner gets in the tow trucks greets me, makes small talk, I thought to myself very friendly guy all those reviews were bs but boy was I wrong. We get to the location he drops my truck & I give him the money $150 as I was quoted when I called at 4:33pm. He proceeded to tell me that $100 was missing, I told him his secretary quoted me $150 he replies with “I’m the owner I think I know how much the tows are” & “I was there when she quoted you” I asked him if he was there the first time I called when she quoted me @4:33pm HE LITERALLY PLAYED HIMSELF AT THAT POINT because he told he wasn’t, he was there when I called at 4:59pm as I stated above we didn’t discuss the tow charge again because that was already done. I’m not going to lie owner was rude but I wasn’t going to let myself get overcharged for something I was already quoted on, we exchanged a few words said he was gonna call the cops three times & that he was going to tow my truck never did though I’m assuming he knew what he was doing. It was obvious he wasn’t going to leave without the $100 he was overcharging me, ended up paying him that money he left happy. I’m not here to make threats or to scare anyone, I’m sharing my experience with this company. Since this happened I went deeper into their reviews and noticed I’m not the first person this company has done this to! RICHARD S on Yelp review: “Do not under any circumstances call this company they quoted me over the phone $250.00 to tow my truck 3.7 miles. After picking up my vehicle and dropping it off at mechanic shop they charged me $300.00 dollars yelling at me saying I wasn't quoted that price. Hopefully you're never in an emergency and in need of a tow around this area. AGAIN DO NOT CALL!!!!!!!” I REALLY HOPE NO ONE ELSE GOES THROUGH THIS, PLEASE USE THIS COMPANY AS YOUR LAST CHOICE OR JUST DONT USE AT ALL.
