Small place near the highway. Been going here for years and the food is amazing and the people that work here are the nicest.

This is a little hole in the wall! The shrimp is a must we LOVE EATING and this is a great place great people better food. We lived in L.A and we would drive just to eat here..!

What a find! We were a little unsure as we drove up. We are mostly in cities and we’re not sure what to think of this non-busy and older exterior. But we entered and the owner smiled a welcome and said “You want me to cook for you?” We told him we were on our way home to San Diego from Yosemite. He told us funny stories of Yosemite customers he’s had.
But mostly, the food was great. The lo mein and rice didn’t look as bright and delicious as Panda Express or other chains but it was better with perfect wok-fired flavor. We had tofu kung pao, shrimp vegetables, salt and pepper fish, and orange chicken and really enjoyed it all. And we have not had anything like this service and deliciousness in forever, not even pre-pandemic prices were this low in any of our cities.

Absolutely wonderful hidden gem. Discovered by driving from Fresno area to LA and the food is fantastic. The owner and staff are very kind. The restaurant has been around for 50 years and I can see why- the food is delicious.

I've known this restaurant and the family for almost 3 decades now and I can personally tell you they are super kind and they do their best at every dish they have they have a 99% yelp score also !

I love eating here all the time , the food is always fresh and delicious! Place is small and authentic. They no longer serve a buffet due to pandemic so that's a bummer, but overall the place is wonderful 10/10.

Amazing lunch specials for a good price. Nice break driving home from Yosemite.

Gotta Say It's The Best Chinese Food In The Valley! Been Coming Here Since I Was 5 Years Old. I Live In Bakersfield Now And Come Here Every Now & Then Food Has The Same Great Taste And The Old Couple Have Always Been Good People.

Fay Yin Restaurant has great Chinese food. Love the fried duck, combination fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken is loved by my children, the spicy chicken is delicious. Also, try the special Hong Kong Chowmain. Will post pictures next time.

Fay Yin hands down is the jewel of McFarland when it comes to food. I've lived in San Francisco for about five years, and this place competes well with the food offered here. Clearly, SF out paces Fay Yin due to the larger community of Chinese residents demanding quality food; yet, it's probably the best Kern County has to offer. The wife can be moody at times, but it's worth the attitude! The place could use cosmetic fixes if that's a problem for you.

just went there for dinner and can’t lie good food! But it is a ghetto area. If it has a better area it Weill definitely be poppin with costumers. And needs better quality on pictures.

I liked their food, the service, limited choices on the buffet, but what it was in display was really good. They also offered something out the manu, maybe on my next visit.
