Awesome Mexican food! Great service! Some of the best carne asada, salsa and guacamole I've ever had.

So there I was, hungry for a mean burrito and thirsty for a good brew. I went with the enchilada style carne asada burrito and the portion didn't disappoint! I also had a michelada that took my to flavor town! I've had micheladas all over and many get it wrong. This is dang near perfect!

Absolutely phenomenal. Great food solid portion and fair prices. The vibe was great and the service was excellent. Probably the best chips I’ve ever had. They were the perfect level of crispness and saltiness. The Salsas were great too! Definitely will be coming back!!

Large portions. I mean huge portions. Great service. Small Town care for the people and place. If you're passing through give them a few minutes. They're a small but effective team. Ask them for their tequila recommendations. They know their agave.

On our way through Bishop and stopped at three other Mexican restaurant we're closed or no one there, wife spotted Las Palmas , and we are Glade we did, the carnival was spot on. Get the right crunch. My wife bean and cheese burrito with ranco sause was the best she has had.

Nice family ran Mexican food restaurant. They have alot of choices everything we tried was great. Drinks were excellent. Great service

We were apprehensive when we walked in because there was no one in the restaurant, but we got a table anyways. Service was quick, food came out really fast and was delicious. Large portions, get chips and salsa to start. I had the Steak Fajitas, which were delicious and hit the spot. Recommend!

Stopped here in the way up to Mammoth and did not disappoint. Got the wet burrito and my friend got nachos. The place is cozy with kitschy decor and the family friendly service really was the cherry on top. Coming from LA I really enjoy stopping at these small businesses. Food and portions were good. The chips and salsa are the best!!

Support local and support one of the best Mexican places that is still truly authentic in Bishop. I ordered the wet burrito and it was to die for will definitely be stopping back every time I’m in the ship.

I got a smothered adobada burrito. Food came hot and quick. The food was really delicious, the sauce was flavorful, the beans were creamy and the meat was abundant and of good quality. I got a side of chips and salsa that were also bomb and the salsa was really refreshing to help cut through the heaviness of the burrito. Def stop by here if you can. Spoke to the owner for a few minutes and you can tell he’s a good guy. Definitely recommend this place for a warm, delicious bit to eat.

I ordered over the phone to-go, but I wish I had just stayed. This place reminds me of some of the older, long-gone Mexican restaurants of days past... lots of character and atmosphere, old leather and moody booths. As I embellished the surroundings, Javier, offered me a shot of Tequila. "Claro que si!" I said with firmness--I was ready to Fiesta here. But I didn't. Rebecca gave me my order with a cheer and I left knowing I'd be back to dine-in. Old charm and nice peeps here. Salude!

The star of the show is undoubtedly the beans - they are cooked to absolute perfection with just the right touch of seasoning. Of course, no trip is complete without ordering one (it's giant) of their incredible fish tacos. Each bite is fresh, flaky, and full of flavor.

The care that goes into the food and service is a testament to the owners, Francisco and his family. They have been running Taqueria Las Palmas for generations and their dedication to quality is evident. Francisco makes it a point to greet customers and make sure everyone is having an outstanding dining experience. His full menu of tequila offerings right up on the wall never disappoints.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Las Palmas is lively and inviting. It's the kind of place where everyone knows your name. I always feel like I'm among friends when I eat there.

For unbelievable Mexican cuisine served up in a warm, welcoming environment, Taqueria Las Palmas is a must-try. The beans and fish tacos alone are worth a special trip, but the whole menu is incredible. I can't recommend this Bishop gem enough for locals and visitors alike.

Las Palmas is a very nice family restaurant, we went there last Wednesday night when most restaurants were closed, they were open. The service was perfect and the wait time was almost none existent. We had an excellent dinner. The owner (he was also the cook and chief bottle washer – he does it all) came over and thanked us for coming in, we enjoyed the meal very much, we will come back next time we are in town!

All the food served piping hot...nice! Had the marinated pork enchildas verde...really tasty. Compliments to this establishment!

The food was delicious. Had just enough time to eat a basket of chips and salsa and the food arrived. I was back on the road within 20 minutes .

Always good food .. I wish they stayed open later than 9 .. We usually stop here on the way up to Mammoth

Phenomenal Mexican restaurant located off the main road. My fiancé ordered a burrito with a Al Pastor taco. I’m very particular with Al Pastor, but these tacos here were delectable! I’ve never had such a great Al Pastor taco, very different from the ones I grew up eating in Monterrey and Texas. Highly recommend stopping by. They also do a great job with with chips and salsa.

We thought we’d try Las Palmas.
What a hidden gem! Outstanding food & service. Everything was delicious & authentic. High 5’s to Francisco!
