La Casita Mexican Restaurant

I'm glad they finally reopened. Best hard-shell tacos in town. Plus they served really good margaritas. You definitely got what you paid for. I also like it because it is decidedly a locals place, but they don't mind non-locals coming in. Bartender was first class conversationalist and a great mixer of drinks.

An all time favorite from my childhood! I slways enjoy the opportunity to eat here when visiting the valley. The recipes never change for my favorite, the enchiladas with beans and rice. They are good every time I visit. The staff is friendly and the bartender made excellent margaritas!

Always stop here. Awesome food, excellent carne asada, with nice big chunks! Mole sauce is great! Margaritas are excellent. They definitely are not stingy with the tequila!! Overall awesome place to eat.. parking and entrance In the back if you can't park up front.

When I come to Bishop and crave a good Mexican dinner, it's always La Casita! The chips and salsa are great basic starters. The restaurant makes their own salsa and offers two types: mild (for wimps) and hot. Tell 'em to bring the hot... and don't worry, they'll bring plenty more if needed. Their salsa is a sort of chunky style with diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro etc. Yum! Oh, and make sure to order a Modelo Especial (Cerveza) or two to enjoy with your appetizer and main course. The cheese and beef enchiladas are delicious, as are their many other menu options. Everything is fresh and tasty, you'll never leave hungry!

Despite reading some other reviews, I've always received top-notch service here, never had any problems. Their servers are always prompt and courteous! There's an adjacent bar next to the restaurant. If you're only looking for drinks and relaxation, maybe watch some sports games, you have that available here too.

When you're in Bishop, make plans to stop by La Casita for a delicious Mexican meal!

This is a family owned restaurant. The owners and employees always make my family and friends feel welcome. The food is outstanding and they make a great drink. No skimping on the tequila in their yummy margaritas!!!

Travel from Az to visit family here in Bishop and chips and salsa from here is a must have. And food is great and so is the service. 2 Thumbs up!!

Marinated Chicken Salad was Amazing and so worth the 3 month wait! Hubby enjoyed chicken enchiladas too! The food and service NEVER disappoint!

The Chili Verde is better than anything I have had in East LA and The OC!
Most ppl talk about getting bread in Bishop... na, carne asada burrito floating in tomatillo sauce!

Best place in town to get a cold drink and a great meal! Do yourself a favor and stop in, you won't regret it.
