Thier service alone gets them a 5 stars from me. Thier youngest cashier is the example of what good Coutmer service looks like. She greets everyone with a smile and respect. They have an pretty decent selection of beer and snacks for a quick stop. The bathrooms are clean too! That's always good!

The best gas station between Reno and LA. Thestaff was nice and masked up and the area was pretty clean.

Also, The air pump takes credit cards!! Costs $1.50

Location 395 traveling north out of Bishop on the left before the stop light at Barlow Lane. Nice building, nice convenience store for snacks and drinks. Always clean, but prices are higher than average. There are no prices under the items which you are purchasing. Milk is close to $6.00 per gallon. Behind it sits Bishop Automotive. Bishop Automotive has great mechanics who will get you back to where you are going. Towing, tires, batteries etc. Are also sold here.

Gas said 4.99. Wrang up 5.29. 1 mile down the road gas was 4.00 at Yuhubi nobi. Restroom was out of order so there was an out house.

Price Gouging Rip Off
As we were travelling from Ridgecrest, CA to Mammoth in February 2023, a chains required notice went up. The Bishop Chevron said they had snow socks to fit our tires. Normally a $140 item from Amazon or Walmart, under the circumstances, we did expect to pay more, but not double! We were led to believe the cost would be about $200 a set. When we arrived in Bishop, the Chevron station charged us $300 a set and we needed 2 sets. To top off their price gouging sleazy way, they said No returns, even if unopened and unused. Turns out we did not need or use the snow socks, and Caltrans removed the required notice. I tried talking to the manager, Bobby, and his only comment was, ‘I can charge whatever I want. No one can tell me what to charge or do in my business”. Maybe true, but as frequent and repeat visitors to that area, we can certainly choose Where to stop and where to spend our money. Please do not support this Chevron station in Bishop since they do not support their customers.

The automotive part is horrible. Dropped my car off at 8 in the morning. They told me it would be done in the morning. Almost 3 in the afternoon now… Rude people and Horrible service.

Don't ever buy or replace the propane bottle there because most likely it's not going to work. It is full but nothing comes out. I've had to go back5 times and only got one good tank. They get bogus tanks from Amerigas.
And there's a guy with a long beard that's rude and he goes I only make minimum wage here. Well I think he is paid way too much for his education then. Even the lady was rude when I called.
