Inyo County Superior Court

Unfortunately my boyfriend got his first ticket passing through Inyo County and after reading the reviews we were a little worried with how their system was going to work. Everything went smoothly though, after about 5 weeks we were able to log online and see and pay the ticket, do traffic school and then we called between the operating hours (1-2pm M-F) to confirm his ticket was cleared, which it was. Very easy process, just a little bit of waiting.

No one likes paying tickets and everything that comes with it. But everyone I spoke to was helpful and available!

I see a lot of bad reviews BUT in my experience, I was guilty. Speeding in excess of 110+mph. The officer was very nice and cordial.I received my ticket and was on my way promptly. As soon as my letter arrived in the mail I paid my ticket. The phone call was automated but it was quick and easy. After about a month and when I knew I would be passing Bishop again, I got my tint removed for my fix it ticket. Guy at the CHP Office was awesome, he came out checked my window signed my ticket and sent me on my way. At the court house I was told since I paid my ticket and removed my tint I was going to be issued a refund. Since I paid my ticket I’m whole I didn’t have to remove my tint. Until ultimately I would have got another fix it ticket. It’s fine and now I have money coming back into my pocket. If your going to complain about the law then guess what you should follow it and you won’t have to worry about nothing. If not, then hey when you get caught don’t whine and cry.

The judge was very lenient with me, I had a speeding ticket worth 2 points, and I was given traffic school and a very low fine. I just didn't like not being able to attend court remotely. I live a few hours away and had to miss work to take the drive.

They know you don’t live near by and take advantage of that. I received a window tint ticket, sold the truck shortly after and they said i have to show up (6hrs) to get it excused. Ive had the same exact scenario in the past, no issues. Total joke, ended up paying full price. Not to mention i was pulled over for speeding, except i could prove that part to be a lie so the newb cop didn’t write that ticket. You guys are very unprofessional

My son just graduated from High School and to celebrate, he and his friends took a trip to Mammoth Mountain to Snowboard. Driving through Bishop, they were pulled over for not having a front license plate. As he was already taking College Classes and working full time, he couldn't make the 6 hour drive to Bishop to show his front license plate. The Court went into his Bank Account at Wells Fargo, drained it of the $739 that was in it, and are now trying to extort another $508 from him!!! What a bunch of low life shysters! They are worse than the mob as at least the Mob can't legally get away with ripping off Americans!
How can anyone justify a Fine of $1,247 for not having a license plate on their front bumper?! Crooks!!!
I ended up having to hire a local Lawyer to get this issue taken care of for my son. That cost another $600. The State of California is a beautiful state but it's Local and State Government are like a Malignant Cancer! Vote Governor Moonbeam Jerry Clown and the rest of the DemonKKKrats out of office!

A shame to our state.
This court did not post the results of my contested citation online. They told me via mail the ticket was upheld AFTER the due date to pay the final fee, rendering me ineligible for traffic school and my insurance rates went up.
Terrible court with an antiquated system, trying to take the most money they can from people. The state government should review this court and its practices.

If your not going to pick up your phone more than a few hours a day you could at least have your website be helpful. I lost my ticket and it is impossible to get a hold of anyone except their tint little window 12-4 when I am at work like most Americans... what BS

The feds should investigate this court. They are corrupt and continue to violate citizens rights in a multitude of ways. It’s an absolute disgrace to our nation and might as well be run by nazis! Everyone becomes a victim of this illegal use of authority in my opinion. Try searching for Inyo County legal help or anything regarding abuse of judicial standards laws and you will find very little if any information to help! Do not trust “any authority” in this county!!

One star because doesn’t allow me to give zero. Worst customer service ever. When I ask at the court representative why the judge didn’t lower my fine after I showed them that I don’t make enough money to pay it she hang up the phone on me. This judge didn’t lower my fine also after proof of not be able to pay. Thief

They know you don't live near and take advantage of people who pass through their town. It's the only thing keeping this towns court afloat.

The reason I said this because I also got the ticket cause I do not have front plate. Try to give me more tickets? No way and fk u self.

Speech traps everywhere, even if you don’t speed and go with the traffic. Court will rule you at fault as soon as you get a ticket!

One area of the court does not communicate with another area, no one knows schedules, we were told 3 different court times for traffic Court, and finally the judge just flat out refused to hear the case...

Does anyone know how to pay the ticket online? I been waiting for this court to mail me the payment but still not get it

In all fairness... Who has ever had a good experience with a traffic court....
