Needed to cut a sidewalk with a diamond edged 7 inch saw blade. They had a good Dewalt one.

Ace high country lumber is by and far one of the best hardware/lumber yards I've worked with. Myself and some friends came in during a road trip after bumping a pole with our trailer and forcing a hole in the side. We came in and Steve (I believe he's the owner) came to our aid right away. He took a look and was slapping together a bandaid in no time at all. I can't help but be impressed with the operation at this Ace establishment, staff was all smiles and eager to help us... With or without being promoted by Steve. Overall highly satisfactory experience! I recommend this establishment for all types of needs, regular daily or dire emergencies... Steve is doing the Ace hardware name a solid service, I will definitely be checking out my local Ace back home next time I'm in need

I had the most exceptional customer service experience of my lifetime today at HCL. The lady that works power tools was extremely knowledgeable, nice and so helpful. Wonderful experience and will shop here every chance I can in the future.

I've used them both as a customer and as someone who delivers products to them. They have always given me the best customer service.
The best way to test a company in my eyes is how they treat the people who are delivering to them because they don't have to be nice or get to me in a timely manner.
I had a delivery at there Mammoth office. I misunderstood which office was open at the time I needed. So Mammoth was closed early on Saturday and wouldn't open again till Monday. I called them they told me to go to bishop and got me out. So I could go home and see the family.

Usually we go to Ridgecrest when we want to buy any speciality items that High country lumber doesn’t stock but we always check in every week or so just to see the garden department and try to support our local garden nursery. They have a great selection of garden decor along with a good pot selection and other items. The plant section is great too and they usually get new stuff in regularly. Each time we have had the time to visit, Gary in the garden department has gone above and beyond for our shopping experience. He has been very knowledgable on our gardening needs and he is always cheerfully helpful.

High Country Lumber is a lumber yard. Building, plumbing, painting, electrical contractors etc visit this store. What makes this store unique it sells everything from light bulbs to trash cans, paint, nails, flowers patio furniture etc. It services several counties in the area. As a regular person who knows nothing about building houses or plumping fitures, etc. The contractors will also help you. Great customer service. They are very busy but they will answer any questions or how to fix something they give good advice. They serve old fashion popcorn while you are waiting. If a line is to long they go overboard they bring out the extra help to help you. There is always someone on the floor who will stop by and see if you found what you were looking for or recommend a product to you. They are also open on Sunday till 3.00 pm.

I am in Bishop two times each year I always find myself there.well stocked. This trip I required a few electrical items and was happy to see that there was some Dots Homestyle Pretzels. That made my day

Our Local store has almost everything a person could want at competitive prices. If they do not have it in stock, they are willing to order it for you!!

For our small town this place has it all. Everything from an Ace Hardware Store to Lumber and a Great Garden Center. I'll be back.

I’m here about once a week and usually need help or advice on a current project. Scott deserves an award for not only the the most helpful but the most engaging, enthusiastic, creative employee of all time. We’re really lucky to someone like him in Bishop.
