Arvin DMV

I always go to the DMV on Arvin. Not so crowded, very courteous. I didn't have an appointment - no problem. In and out quickly.

They got me out pretty quick about 20 minutes

I brought my kids to take their driving test and the written test. They were very polite, respectful and professional.

Staff were great! I was in and out quickly.

Fast , easy service today. Usually very busy and packed.

Arrived at my appointment and everything went by smoothly. I appreciate the understanding and patient workers. I'm glad they know how to show a smile which made me feel comfortable.

Very nice staff , walked in about an hour early for my behind the wheel test and took it about 10 min after i got there. The test was very easy and the instructor was the best! I forgot his name but he was wearing a cowboys hat.

They were quick efficient and enforced the 6 ft. Rule and prescreened my needs prior to entrance.

I did not has appointment but walked in the door to the window and they started my renewal process for my real license. Very friendly and efficient. I was there for a total time of 33 minutes. Best DMV experience ever.

I LOVE THIS DMV SO MUCH! IT WAS SO CONVENIENT AND THE WORKERS WERE SO CHILL! I DIDNT EVEN SIT DOWN TO GO GET PAY FOR MY PERMIT. EVERY OTHER DMV SAID THAT I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH DOCUMENTS (and I brought all needed) BUT WHEN I WENT HERE, THEY ONLY TOOK LIKE 30% OF WHAT I BROUGHT!!! 10/10 experience, gonna come back here for both my test and knowledge test :)

Very fast and the lady that helped me had so much patience didn't even look like I bothered her at all with all my questions and and was able to leave with my sticker in hand! This location is amazing and well worth the trip!

If you're in Arvin this DMV is the fastest to be in and out.

The ladies in front were so helpful. I showed up 15 min before closing and I forgot my birth cert. So the lady in a Cowboys jersey i think it was, went inside and printed out my Veteran plate form and my transfer ID form. Great place. Very busy but thats normal in California.

The line for the entrance was not long. The outside clerk was very professional about handling the numbers to enter the DMV office. She called each one as we were able to walk in the building. It was quick and hassle free. I enjoyed it!

I had never been to a small town DMV before my visit on 7-22-21. My experience was a good one. Very friendly employees that are sincere.

Having recently moved from the Los Angeles area (I found a fabulous house in the mountains above Tehachapi), I had previously visited the Inglewood DMV the Culver City DMV. Those two are always crowded. I give the workers at those two offices all the credit in the world. They are professionals working tough job and they must maintain there composure.

Conversely, the Arvin office was not crowded. I parked 20 feet from the entrance where I was greeted by a DMV employee. I told her what I had to do and she steered me in the right direction. I was out of there in thirty minutes. Bravo!

A few pointers. Many tasks can be done online. It makes sense to get it done at home (if you can).

If you must go to a field office, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT and be on time! It's the smart thing to do and you will greatly reduce your overall time spent at the DMV office.

And it is best to not have a lousy attitude when you're interacting with the DMV employee. It's a tough job and remember, you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.
