King Kora Restaurant

I ordered a dish of octopus with rice, beans, and a salad, and the entire food tasted amazing! I went to this restaurant several times in the past, and the food also tasted very good since then. There were no problems, and the service I received was excellent. I would highly recommend this place to your friends if they are craving seafood.

The food is delicious, and the staff is great. Amazing seafood selection. Wasn't too busy, will definitely be coming back.

Changed ownership October 2020. Now called King Kora Restaurante. Serves both American and Mexican. Will have to return for ribeye steak. Had New York and Pork chops. Friendly staff. Late dinner

I met one of the cooks, who hails from the Mexican province of Nyarit, along the shore. Her specialty is seafood, and the quality of that part of the menu truly reflects it. So far I have tried the Past Brava (spicy) and the fish and shrimp tacos. Both were excellent. I recommend exploring their seafood menu. The TV is often on, which I find unpleasant, however, they have been willing to either turn off the volume, or tune it to traditional Mexican music.

Great quality food ! They were super friendly and very attentive. I think the reason for the low ratings is because this restaurant specializes in mariscos food (seafood) and not "American" food. I dont go into a pizza place wanting to get a burger and expecting it to be the best I've ever had but that's just my opinion. Give this place a try !

The name of the restaurant is now "King Kora". The breakfast was excellent! The omelettes were huge, fluffy and cooked to perfection. The biscuits were soft and very tasty. The house potatoes were very flavorful with just enough spice. To add to the greatness, everything came out hot.

I ordered my favorite pink bean soup. Mmmmmmmm it was great like always.

This was a GREAT breakfast. The place is kind of old and dated. They have a very cute eccletic collection of stuff for sale just as you step in the door.
Once we sat down we were waited on immediately, the coffee was strong and fantastic! It actually tasted like coffee. Our orders were served up lickety split, piping hot and just dam good!!
Very personable staff, great cook, really good food! Would go back there again and again if I lived in this city.

We were just driving through the area and needed breakfast. Saw Lawrence's and stopped in. Very glad we did! Fast friendly service, plenty of coffee, and a delicious omelette. Nice home style food and atmosphere. They serve breakfast all day!

My first time and I am very impressed. I can think of a single thing that wasn't wonderful! So much to choose from and reasonable prices. Amazing service. The meal was delicious. It's clean and large and has handmade things for sale as well as some antiques. I am very impressed!

Food was wonderful. Shrimp is their specialty. Shrimp Empanadas were served freshly made, piping hot and delicious. Fajitas were perfect. Be sure to try the salsa verde. Freshly made with cilantro and jalapeño peppers. Great, friendly service. An immaculate restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Wow!!Don't expect anything fancy . The portions were plenty. Steak was grilled perfect. Service was great. It's a little hole on the wall but it all turned out Perfect 👌👍.

I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried here. Burgers and open faced pot roast sandwich w fries are my fave! Service is great, staff are very friendly, and prices are fair. Definitely better food and service than Denny’s!!

This is a great place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most of us locals eat here, but we have quite a few passerbys that stop bye and dine with us.
I have never seen un unsatisfied customer. If you are hungry then this is a great place to eat. They have a variety of comfort foods that will surely satisfy any appetite. See for yourself. You won't be sorry. Oh yeah, the service is great too.

I'm getting Wheels on Meals here in Arroyo Seco while this craziness is going on and I understand that the food comes from Lawrence's and it's good stuff by anybody's standards. I've had chili relleno, meat loaf, BBQ beef on a french roll, to name a few, and today was shrimp and fries. The shrimp were so big when I first looked, I thought it was chicken. All meals come with green or potato salad and condiments. I've never been to King City but when we're done with the virus I plan on taking a trip to Lawrence's since I already know I won't be disappointed. BTW, thanks for what you do for the community. Frankly, five stars ain't enough!!!!

Excellent service. Great food. Portions we're amazingly well proportioned. Food seasoned perfect. Right price. Great place to eat, great atmosphere.

Great food and prices! I thought they honored veterans with a discount but they don't. So if you're looking for a veteran's discount, don't go here! I was disappointed because of all the army posts they have in here, I was certain they'd honor me.
