Tacos La Potranca De Jalisco

Keeping in mind I'm a Midwest guy, the food here was phenomenal. Prices were great for the food you got. I really liked that the corn tortillas didn't fall apart while I at the tacos. One thing of note is there is no inside seating.

La veridad is off the beaten path. Don't waste your time with commercial chains. Be sure to Visit the authentic historic district of King City. Many restaurants to choose from, but this corner location was perfect. Busy, which is a good sign, but Swift friendly service and preparation for us eating quickly. The burritos were fresh. The carnitas, the El pastor were delicious. A bunch of sliced carrot rounds served with lemons straight off a tree gave the meal sunshine and a bite to bring it all together. You're traveling on highway 101 at 70+mph. Take a deserved break eat well, support local business, then you can get back on the road. But definitely visit La Potranca.

This is hands-down the best burrito in Olive California. Do yourself a favor. Stop in and say hello. Service is great. Food is great and what a cool little town.

amazing authentic and affordable tacos in king city! perfect stop on our way to La from SF. We got the carne asada and al pastor both good. The red salsa is kinda spicy tbh. The veggie burrito was really good too!! service was nice and friendly and the menu had lots of options. Quick service! Would def come back 💘

The best tacos in all of cali, the asada and other meats come from local ranches. The asada has such a good taste! Prices are very reasonable too.

Heard they had good street tacos here, so we stopped on our way home from LA to give it a try.
I had a Lengua beef taco that was packed with juicy flavor. It certainly holds its own as a top contender of the best of lengua tacos. Located at the end of town wirh plenty of parking, It's seems to be a locals favorite.

It's become a tradition that every time I come through King City I make sure to stop here. Awesome flavor packed and affordable taco shop. Burrito is a good bang for your buck also! All the salsas are on point, and al pastor up with the best of them. Give it a try if you're in the area, you won't regret it!

I’m just a gringo but living in California I’ve had my share of tacos. These were some of the best I’ve ever had. Super friendly staff. Don’t pass on the Pastor!

Classic taco spot. Very good tacos! I tried pastor, carnitas and chicken. I think the chicken tacos were my favorite. Good spot for a quick bite for cheap.

We shared a pastor super burrito. Holy moly was it delicious! Service was great. Well done to the team here. We will certainly return 🙂

This was my second time at Tacos La Potranca De Jalisco, and they continue to impress. I ordered their Carne Asada burrito and a couple of Sope's, and, just like my first visit, the food was incredibly delicious. This place never disappoints. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine, it's a must-visit. Consistency is key, and they consistently deliver great flavors. Highly recommended!

We drove from Lake Tahoe to get more tacos here! Not really but we did talk about stopping hereto get tacos on our way from Lake Tahoe to Pismo. This tinge we ordered them without salsa and they were still excellent. We will be back.

We got 6 tacos on our trip through King City. The tacos were delicious, with good toppings and all 3 meats we tried were properly prepared to be tasty. It’s not every time that you can order different meats from a place and all 3 taste equally good! We got carnitas, asada, and al pastor. They also gave us some good spicy salsa. The outdoor dining area is very nice and quaint, while the indoor area was under construction. The workers were friendly as well. We will definitely stop here again whenever we pass through King City again. It was memorable!

SO GOOD. They have raised prices by abt 50 cents, but its nonetheless cheap. But the food wont disappoint you!!! Super burrito is the size of an avg woman's face. Horchata is amazinggg. And the pickled carrots that come on the side...... sooooo goooood. Ugh. So full right now.

Quick stop driving south and the food was so yummy! Try the sope de lengua! They also squeeze fresh orange juice to order 😍

The food was amazing and affordable and the owner was so kind and friendly 😊 Can’t recommend it enough!
