San Juan Vineyard

Really excited that this place was as good as it is. Went in with lower expectations as it’s a hard climate to grow grapes. They grow all the white varietals on the island and bring in the red from their parent wineries in Walla Walla. ALL of their wines were great, we were impressed. Our background is in wine and we come from Napa so it’s just a testimony that good wine can come from anywhere when it’s done right. Thanks for a great tasting, we’ll be back with more people.

We were here for the first time this year. We liked that wine very much, specially rose one. Nice quiet environment around. We will definitely come again.

What an AMAZING little surprise!! We were looking forward to stopping at this winery all day long but time got away from us and we pulled in just five minutes before closing.
But, no fear! Joe could not have been a more lovely and accommodating host. He gave us a little taster of their rosé while he checked out a couple other customers and then came out to our table to tell us all about the Vineyard and the grapes along with its history and we celebrated with a glass of red, rosé and a light white. I’ve never met such a lovely sommelier so close to closing time in such a beautiful setting. This is a DO NOT MISS kind of place if you happen to be on the island.

Great place, great wine, and wonderful people. Nothing beats enjoying good wine on a sunny patio in the San Juans!

Update 7/2/22, we came back and the wine is even better! Really enjoyed the Madeleine Angevine on a warm summer day. Beautiful setting and wonderful people.

Very kind and knowledgeable staff. $10 wine tasting fee that can be applied towards a purchase of a bottle. Bottles were very reasonably priced at $20-$25 a bottle. Great experience. It’s true they have no food, but great for a stop over if you have the time.

We had such a pleasant time here. The lady who helped us was super nice and very helpful, made sure we were taken care of and warm as we sat under the heaters. The wine was yummy and interesting, something different and I'd definitely come back when I'm on the island.

Stopped by before our ferry ride home. Wine was great, very reasonably priced and the service was top notch. Wonderful gem on San Juan Island.

Was initially concerned by the negative reviews. That being said I am now confused by them. We had A very pleasant experience! The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome! Encouraged us to bring our 2 dogs in with us 💕 The wine was amazing and we had an overall great experience! Will definitely be back!!

Must go to this vineyard whenever visiting Friday Harbor. Rachel was so knowledgeable and had the best suggestions. I will absolutely be visiting again. I cannot recommend it enough!!

My husband and I went in today for the grand re-opening of the vineyard and met some the new owners. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the new space is beautiful and well designed. We got into a conversation with one of the family members of the new ownership about their plans for the winery in terms of grapes to grow, wines to produce, and events they'll host and we were impressed! I specifically like that they are moving away from bottling wines with the San Juan Vineyards label from grapes that they didn't grow. The four wines that we tasted today were delicious and I like that there will be a rotation so we get to try new wines the next time we come in! Changes have been made and they are headed in a good direction!

I would also like to quickly address two 1- star reviews made in the past week by Melanie Johnson and Neri Ramirez. Their website clearly stated alongside their hours that today, the Friday of Memorial Weekend, would be their opening day. Google, I'd like to request you remove these erroneous reviews based on the reviewers mistake, not the fault of the winery.

Brenna and her coworkers assisted me in throwing a surprise party at their vineyards. Their communication was excellent, they were great hosts, their wine was amazing, and the space is beautiful. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

We drove by this place yesterday and decided to stop, and we're so glad we did! It was a great experience--fantastic wine and good conversation with our tasting room attendant. Highly recommend!

We loved stopping here and enjoying a glass of wine. The setting is beautiful and it was very relaxing and peaceful. The wine selection is limited but we enjoyed what we had.

Great place, friendly people and tasty wine. Went here after reading diaper review. Clearly that person had an agenda. This winery well worth your time.

Nice vineyard...the wine really felt good...loved it
