Riverside East DMV

Newer large DMV. Greeter inside front door was friendly and courteous. Led traffic of people to the correct lines. This office has 23 windows.

We made an appointment for instructional driving permit. 1.5 hours for the picture, eye test and written or road knowledge test.

I don’t want to say this because it might get busier but this location has it down! It was so organized and didn’t feel frustrating or confusing. I’d choose this location every time if I lived closer. Kudos to the DMV staff here! Oh and special kudos to the gentleman running the computers today (8 Mar 24 morning), he was so calm I felt his energy kept everyone else calm!

I have been in different DMV offices, but I never saw any DMV clean, smiley face, fast working ,respectful place like this DMV office.
I would like to recommend this office to everybody.

"Blasphemy!" You're thinking, "It's the DMV! You lie!" You decree as you shake your fist in anger.

But no they were actually friendly. I'm as sharp as a marble so I lost my keys in the 20 minutes I was there. I asked the closest staff to me I could find and she immediately went to check to see if anyone had turned them in. All smiles from everyone. Probably laughing at my big brain move of losing my keys in the 20 foot space I walked in there.
Joking aside they gave me clear instructions on how to navigate everything I needed to do while I was there which is great because I only have 2 braincells and they are constantly fighting for third place.
My keys were found in case you were wondering. Thank you DMV staff!

They were all very nice and friendly people making you laugh and feel comfortable I give them a 5 star reading.

I usually hate going to the DMV, I moved to Perris last year and found this location near me, I have come 3 times for different reasons and all I can say is I love it. Fast and quality service, the staff is always so nice (not like at other locations), so far so good keep it that way.

For the amount of people that were here it went by so fast. Went to the teller and within 1 min I was out but I was only there for registration confirmation process so my guess it might differ for everyone.

Wow! This is the fastest DMV I have ever been to. I drove 30 mins just to go here because the Temecula DMV is ridiculous. I was in and out in about 30 mins! They have about 25 windows helping people, so it goes really fast. I will never go to another DMV again. I am definitely recommending to all my friends and family.

When I went to take my driving test I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful employee diamond 🤭 her beauty was a distraction on the road she was awesome n nice !

I thought this DMV was very well organized and ran very efficiently. The building was clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. They have an employee named Delores in the appointment line that was an amazing employee and helped us through a process that isn’t very familiar to us as my friend is from out of the country. She was patient and very helpful. I’m sorry if I spelled your name wrong Delores and I thank you for finding us and getting our folder back to us. You are a stellar example of an excellent employee! I think it’s the first time in all my life that they didn’t let me waiting two to three hours waiting. They solve my renewing stuff in less that fifteen minutes and in less that forty five minutes I was out with no problems. Really kind treat by all the workers there!

While it seems chaotic, the staff did a great job of steering to right places. We should thank these for helping us.

My wife and I had appointments at 10:20 and 10:40 to get the new federally compliant drivers licenses. We arrived at about 9:55, and we were done at 10:35.

The staff was extremely helpful and efficient. They had a couple of staff members at the computer kiosks to help us through application process.

I’ve read about the nightmare experiences at various DMVs. This is my third visit over the last ten years, and I have no complaints. This location might have been the best of all of them.

I got my diver license here after 26 years of not having 1. This place made it simple and easy I passed on my first try

This location is being extremely safe and organized during this Pandemic. They have a tent outside to check you in, you don't go inside until they give you a number and have been screened for temperature. They also sanitize between customers which was awesome seeing! The workers I dealt with were friendly and welcoming, not used to that treatment at DMV's. I had uploaded my documents along with my online application for a Real ID license so was treated as if I had an appointment when I showed them my confirmation number and was in and out within 20 minutes. I went on a Friday which is considered a busy day, got there at 6:30am and there was about 50 people in line. By 8am, line was literally around the building so I strongly suggest the online uploading if and when possible. I was pretty impressed with the way they're operating.

In and out in under an hour and nobody was rude! Everything you need from a DMV!

I didn't think I would ever have a pleasant experience at a dmv. I was in and out in 22 minutes without an appointment. The staff kept the flow of customers moving non stop

It has gotten better, in my opinion. Less than 25 minutes just to get a replaced ID and new photo.

The first representative from the start line I spoke with was not helpful at all and actually was going to turn me away. But I stood in line again, and the second representative at the start line was very helpful and even expedited my visit due to my dementia client with health issues I was assisting. I wish I knew her name, I would give her a gold star🌟
