Village Bread - Bread & Pastries

Pastries sold out 2 hours after open. Got the last croissant; excellent. Kids wanted lemon cookie; surprisingly excellent flavor and texture. They just moved location to the Hallmark store in same plaza. Take out only.

By far the best bakery around. Their flaky pastry is unreal and their sourdough is unmatched. Their new shop is a gorgeous space with a coffee bar and nice area to stand in line inside. The wait is always worth it!

The new location is nice and roomy. You can easily see all the available breads and pastries as soon as you come in and the coffee smells great. I didn't get a chance to try this time, But I'm sure it's Delicious.

Bread is the best. Croissants are amazing. Service is courteous attentive and professional. Even when I get there and it's just 10 minutes to closing. To be fair I didn't know when they closed. Yet they greet you with a smile and happy to see me. Bakery is top quality.

They moved!! Now bigger and better. Great to see this place expanding and in the same parking lot.

First visit. Bought a chocolate croissant. It was fabulous! Almost as good as the chocolate croissants in France. Bought a Coco Chocolate cookie for $2. It was fabulous! I liked it better than the $4 gourmet cookies available in Redlands.
Bought a loaf of potato bread. My wife used it to make a grilled cheese sandwich. It was fabulous!
I am tempted to move to Calimesa just to be near the Village Bakery.

Amazing bread, items used to be sold out by the time I could make it (noonish) but recently they’ve had most things in stock. Every time I go to a restaurant or shop and think wow this bread /pastry is remarkable, it ends up being from Village Bread. Very kid friendly, excellent service, very reasonable prices, and delicious carbohydrates. The service window is especially convenient. I highly recommend the sourdough, baguette, and Croissant. One of the best places for bread and pastries and definitely a gem in this area. Baguettes are on point and my favorite pastries are the pain au raisin and pain au formage. The everything pretzels are also delicious.

Wow, it's like I've never had a croissant before. The pastries are divine. The bread is rustic and so satisfying. Do yourself a favor and go get several items to try. Everything is good.

Everything here is good. All the employees are solid. This place gets busy: like, line ten people deep before it opens busy. You can order ahead to guarantee that you’ll get what you want. They can sell out fast.

Lucid coffee is usually out front on weekends which is also awesome. Recommend: All cookies. This place has the best cookies you can buy in the entire area (salted chocolate rye, oat and cherry, etc.)

I love this place, and so does everyone in the know! You should expect lines on the weekends and they usually set up a outdoor kiosk to accommodate everyone. But still good 10 to 15 minute wait. Really worth it though as they have best friends and pastries in the inland empire!

Their bread is worth the drive. Not cheap but you see that in the quality of the bread they make. Battard and Baguette are delicious. As is their Five seed sourdough and croissant 🥐. Danishes are delicious, honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here.

Ordered a few dozen pretzels for a party. They were phenomenal would highly recommend. Great service and communication.

First time visiting this place. I’ve been looking for a bakery that does not use any seed oils, artificial ingredients or toxic preservatives in their products (which is very difficult to find nowadays), and this place did not disappoint! I love the fact that they list their ingredients online. I purchased their sourdough bread, chocolate cookie, and everything pretzel and everything was amazing. This place is only 15 minutes away from where I live, so I’ll definitely be back.

My wife found this little gem the other day! And she is in love with them! Got a handful of treats from them and everything was delicious and well made. She eats bread for dinner some nights and knows her stuff, and so do they! Definitely making this place a regular destination! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Service was quick even though there is a line. Glad to have found a place in the area that makes such good bread! Finally!
