Seeing the Elk was really fun. Wish we had seen them more often. There was 2 bulls and about 40 cows and calves.

Great place to stop, stretch your legs and maybe see some Elk or other wildlife. Really nice view of the meadow and mountains.

Lots of parking, informational signs. If you're lucky you can see a herd of elk in this field! Part of the Skagit Land Trust.

Very quiet and clean.
Late May and the field is bright and yellow. The wind makes the grasses look magical.
Only birdsong in the field today.

When the Elk Herd(s) are in the field it's definitely worth the stop. Also a great first stop for eagle viewing.

Great place of peace and watching elk get fat and lazy and the parking lot is usually well kept

There were about 30 head of elk there at dusk when we stopped. Beautiful, as always.
