Best Lumber and Hardware

so I have used Best Lumber for years. However, the past couple of weeks, it seems as though there have been some outstanding changes. Huge kudos to Heather and Josh for their customer, care, and assistance they provided me with a project my son and I are working on. they went above and beyond! the helped me with identifying what to purchase, cutting wood to appropriate sizes, and being extremely friendly. They delivered everything right to my doorstep. Honestly, the customer service was excellent! I sincerely appreciate all the time and attentention they afforded me! Good, welcoming customer service with people who actually know what they are talking about is hard to find nowadays, and these guys found it! Thank you!!!!!!!!

Now since there are only 2 hardware stores in town, I'm not gonna be that guy. I am kinda bummed I didn't find this Gem earlier though. Now I do competitive app shopping from the other local shop. To be fair, Best lumber does offer lower prices. I really enjoy the being left alone to shop and when I ask for help it is all the way to the register. Thank you Best Lumber!

Went to go get a couple drip system parts and ended up buying some PEX pipe. They are more expensive for the pex pipe than Home Depot, but since we didn't need much, we bought it.. The staff on the other hand is fantastic. Katie and this 19 year old kid ( I didn't catch his name) were great. There was a mix up on the size we needed, (our screw up, not theirs) and they had to go put the wrong stuff back and get down the right size. My wife kept apologizing for the mix up and they kept saying no problem. Super friendly and super helpful. The girl at the register was also super nice. Great people. Something you don't really find at the big box stores. Happy people make for a a great customer experience. If you don't like the staff then it's because you are unlikable. Almost forgot, they also offer a military discount. Good reason to support this business too.

When I go in I am always greeted and asked if I need help finding anything. The new owner has done a terrific job cleaning up the store so you can find what you need. If they don’t have what you need they are ready to order it for you. Great service. I will definitely go back with this new owner.

What a fantastic Hardware store I found in Yucaipa. The prices were fair but more then that was the great service I received. The employees are friendly and actually act like they care about the customers. I think its a great store and local too. I like supporting the neighborhood businesses so try them out. Again what great employees.

Wow! It's hardware store has everything You can think of to Care for your home. They're gardening department is huge and if you're looking to paint they got a wide selections of paint and paint sundries that'll get your job done. If you need a nut or a bolt there's someone there to help you find it. Check out this hardware store if you hadn't and you will make it a regular destination.

I like the store their prices are very competitive the only thing I don't like about the store is that fact that it's so small they need a whole lot more room because everything is crammed in there but overall the staff is fantastic very helpful. Always has a cheerful smile on their faces and again the prices are competitive I didn't see anything that was crazy pricing there plenty of parking I'll go there again and Shop I have no problem with that.

Went in to buy a bathroom faucet employees were nice and was helped by Rick very nice and helpful so I ended up buying the faucet and a couple other items. Thank you Rick for being great.

First timer to this store. Great customer service. Greeted upon entering. We were able to get 5 out of 6 things from our list. Employees were knowledgeable and helpful! Will definitely return again.

Great staff. Very helpful when I comes to finding those certain parts. Instead of spending 30-45 minutes looking for it my self they lead me in the direction I need and have a good selection of parts and tools that I may need to get the job done. Plus they got a good selection of lumber and gardening stuff. This store is a man heaven. At times I'm in and out with in 3 minutes but when those deals catch my eyes I can't help to spend a little extra time shopping.

Manager ‘Fred’ is simply phenomenal!!! With his help, I have managed to complete a variety of home projects that were beyond my talent level. Fred takes his time explaining how to complete difficult tasks in a understandable, simplistic way. My Home Depot trips have become less frequent as I find Best Lumber carries most of the products I need and Fred provides quality customer service and beyond.

Everyone is always nice.and friendly.i do miss the cats at the register.But i have seen them still around the store.

This is a great shop. I appreciate the mature staff here, as opposed to the other hardware store thats overrun with kid employees.

I always get great customer service here. The owner and staff are always available and ready to help me fix my problem. Prices are usually better the most.

These guys have great customer service. Always willing to help and even offer up ideas for completing whatever projects/tasks you might be working on. They are priced a little higher than the "big" orange and blue hardware stores, but local and like I said, fantastic customer service. I check these guys local first before going anywhere else.

Great Small place. Amazing LED lighting section. All Items were very competitively priced and a huge selection. Whether you need something for a job or to upgrade the ambiance of your home they carry it. LED Shop Lights, and Plug n Play t8, great ceiling fixtures, better selection of security lighting than depot, and plenty of undercabinet lighting for all budgets.
