Timeless Pages...The Book Place

A true gem and a treasure in town! The owner is an absolute sweetheart and my family love’s everything about this place. So many options but we mainly love the kids book selection. Our baby is still very small so we love to get used books for him that we don’t have to worry too much about him damaging. Outside you can find great deals on the shelves and if you’re lucky the FREE book box will be nice and full. We just love everything about this place!!

Side note- store hours might not always be accurate but if you’re familiar with Yucaipa most stores are like that in the uptown area. Almost everything is closed on Sunday and Monday. Give a call first to see if they’re open if you’re traveling!

Really amazing collection of books! There’s a large selection of fantasy and science fiction. If you love to look at classic book covers, this is the place to go. However, the pricing and the condition of the books a something to be desired.

What an amazing find here in Yucaipa! So many books, you could easily be there for a couple hours just browsing through them all. I will be visiting here often! One of the owners, Carol, was so sweet and helpful. Happy to support a local shop!

First step through the door and I was so pleased. The smell of old pages and knowledge in the air brought me back to my youth spent often in my local library. Not a very common memory to invoke these days. It was as lovely a moment as the shop clerk. I wish I had gotten her name. Next time I'll be sure ask. Overall experience was delightful. 11/10 would recommend and will return.

A very welcoming bookstore, tt was my first time here and I was received like a regular customer.

I browsed around, but their isn't a very large selection, owners need to broaden their inventory.

Overall a very cozy place, and by the way because it's located in old town Yucaipa there's a nice little selection of restaurants.

Such a cool spot. Sometimes with technology these days, we forget the simple joy of turning pages of a book.

They have such a wide range of genres. I can't ever make it out without at least one bag of books.

This is exactly what I wanted in a used bookstore. Narrow aisles stacked floor to ceiling. That old paper smell you love. Kinda messy but like your room where you can find everything. And super reasonable prices taboot. They have books from the 1800's to present! Yes the 1800's! Paperbacks and hardcovers of all the authors I want to get, of course. I left with 4 hardcovers and a free cookbook! The pretty woman working (10/01/19 2:30) was very knowledgeable and helpful. Name a book or author and she pointed me to the right spot. This is a hidden gem I will definitely be returning too!

I'm so glad we have a place like this in town. The books are very reasonably priced and the people there are super friendly. I even got a discount and store credit for my next purchase. In addition they are now open on Sundays :) I'm definitely going to be a regular here.

Rare these days, a great little used book store. Owner and her mom always friendly even though we miss seeing Andy & his wife (the previous owners) from before.
