Big Oak Ranch/Big Oak Equestrian Center/Rhonda Heiner Performance Horses

My daughter came to Big Oak 4 years ago as a 10 year old looking to try western riding after a few years at an English Only Facility. From the first time we were there, the community welcomed us openly and took a genuine interest in getting to know us. In the 4 years that we have been there, we have progressed from 1x weekly, to 2x, then leasing and now Owning! It's been a great adventure. Our trainer Rhonda has progressed my daughter consistently with a full consideration of our short and long term goals and my daughter's willingness and abilities. We have been on the show circuit for two years and love it. There are opportunities to show at lower level all the way to the world championships if you like. English or Western - pleasure or jumping - As a horse owner with a horse in training, I feel confident that my horse is being looked after carefully and daily when I am not able to be present. The only thing missing?.......MORE PEOPLE to share our love of horses with!

Awesome place very therapeutic for me and my disabled child if I could give it more stars I would my son did great on top of one of there many beautiful horses its a very special place the horses are well taking care of there and in great shape fantastic ranch had a great time and great physical training for my child who is recovering from cancer!

I have lived down the street from this property for 40+ years and the very few times I've had interaction with these new owners it's been at gun point, while being escorted from their property. My very friendly and inoquous intentions were always met with hostility and fear. This is not a place to bring children or new equestrian lovers. Something is amiss here and this business must be a front! Stay away!
