El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant

My son took me here on Valentine’s Day on a whim, and he is a very picky eater so I was skeptical but you know what?! he loved it, ate every bit of the plate we split! Truly great sized portions and super friendly staff ! *** also excellent choices for vegetarians which I appreciate a lot.****

Excellent food, service, atmosphere (especially the sunshine booths) great margaritas/daiquiris, friendly staff. The best Mexican place in town!!

I haven't been here since 2017 and omg!!!! The Pollo chicken is better than i remember!!!! And Jesse our server was fabulous as always!!!

Food was all awesome. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was great with ultra clean and it was early evening and real easy to and friendly

Service was very quick. Tried a fajita pizza. I highly recommend trying it. I know have a new favorite. Loaded with toppings. Steak and Chicken, cheese, peppers tomatoes onions with pico de cio sauce. Will definitely be back

Everything was excellent. From beginning to end. From the salsa, margariitas, perfect hot food, and even the bill. Wished I'd had room for flan.

The staff are always kind and attentive. The prices are about average but I definitely prefer their dishes over others in the area. There’s a large parking lot with plenty of space and my personal favorite, the raspberry margarita tastes like a pink starburst!

The food is good, the staff friendly, and the place was clean and neat. I got the chicken fajitas and they were really good. And they have a great lunch menu. Will go here again.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We’re from St. Louis and it’s better than anything around us - we get soooo excited to come here when we’re passing through! The food is fabulous and always comes out piping hot. The salsa is great, margaritas great, good prices, friendly, fast service. Bonus - My small children even gobble up their food and compliment it the whole time. We come here any chance we get and it’s such a treat for the whole family.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, it’s one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always delicious, they are accommodating to modifications & always friendly & welcoming! Love this place so much!!

We love this place. Go here all the time. I great little place to go out to eat. Our family loves to go here. Also great for takeout if you don’t want to eat in. They are very quick and have great service. You know how some places have great soda? It just tastes so much better. They have great soda. It’s so good. Definitely recommend this place if you want a nice little dinner out. It’s usually pretty quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Great food and service!

I really like their food,and most of all the great people who work there,they are polite and work very hard to serve their customers. My son works there and they are just wonderful people. I've eaten there and it's a feel at home atmosphere. I had a great experience when I was there. I've given a 5 star because they deserve it. Keep up the great work I love it there and the employees that work there. Thank you for all you do, especially during this virus situation and putting yourself at risk with doing so and your kindness.

Great food and service.

My weekly visit for lunch today just as I’ve done for 20+ years. The food is always terrific and the staff is friendly and attentive and always give top notch service. If you want great food in a fun and friendly atmosphere, go to El Ranchito!

Best Mexican food in town and here's why:
The salsa is perfectly blended, not too much salt, not too much cilantro. The chips are served warmed and they keep 'em coming. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the steak is tender. Anything served in a deep fried wrap is always crisp and never soggy. The vegetables are cooked to tender-crisp, never overdone! The flavors are created using seasonings, not just an abundance of salt. And the staff is accommodating. Also, the menu is reasonably priced.

Went on a Friday night, it was super busy with a couple of large parties.
That said, we were seated quickly and got our drinks and chips and guacamole (super good) quickly.
Then our waiter got our order in before the large party, and our food was delivered in less than 5 minutes.
Quality and quantity of food were both excellent, and we were all full.
We will be back.

We’ve been going to El Ranchito in Union for 20 years or more. Love the atmosphere, food, and servers. The fajitas, pollo ranchero, taco salad, chicken fajita pizza, and tortilla soup are some of my family favorites. They know what your first choice and usually the 2nd or 3rd choice of food and drink. Bado, Joe, Carol, Anthony, Jessie, and David are some of the staples. This is a great place to go!
