We have been on the seach for a good grill for months and finally decided on a Napeoleon! A friend had told us to check Pennwood out and it just so happened that they carried the exact grill that we wanted. We emailed them with some questions and Chris Combs got back to us immediately! We went in to see the grill in person and ended up leaving with it the same day. We actually met with Chris when we went in and he was so awesome. He stood and went over every aspect of the grill and answered all of our questions (from cooking to cleaning). We were never rushed in any way. He is a master competition griller and even took the time to share some of his grilling tips and tricks with us. The entire experience was better than expected and we will not hesitate to buy from them again! Thank you Chris and Pennwood for not only selling amazing grills but for your stellar customer service as well.

On a side note - they have a ton of grilling accessories (cleaning stuff, pizza stones, griddles, etc) as well as an entire wall of grill rubs and seasonings and with the help of Chris - we ended up leaving with a little bit of everything. They also carry some beautiful outside patio style furniture and gorgeous fire tables so if you are in the market for any of this stuff - be sure to check them out! You won't be disappointed in their friendly and knowledgeable staff nor their awesome selection!

We would highly recommend Pennwood for any fireplace or stove project. Doug helped us with the sale his timelines and estimates were accurate. The guys who installed the fireplace Brad and Jeremy were very professional and went above and beyond. They showed up on time with everything they needed for the job. They put floor protection down and even ran the vacuum while doing any cutting to prevent dust. These guys also put up with my dogs which is a job in itself. I'm already trying to think of another project for them. Real craftsman! I've included a before and after to let the picture do the talking.

Fantastic service. They repaired a bad thermocouple on our propane fireplace. Not only was the work done well and for less $$$ than we expected, but they fully cleaned the fireplace and left it looking MUCH nicer than it has been the entire time we've owned the house (we did not even realize it needed cleaned so bad until they cleaned it!). Clayton was our tech and did an excellent job. Highly recommended.

One month into our new quadra fire wood stove. Very thankful for Chris helping us to decide which stove to buy and the in-person visit to our house for a real estimate before purchase.

Also cannot say enough good things about the installers who put our stove and chimney in. Very professional and great to work with.

This store was amazing. If you are looking for anything outdoor bbq grill related they will have it. Great Primo ceramic grill selection of products and accessories. All types of rub sauces and high end lump charcoal like jealous devil products. Nice to see a grill supply store that actually stocks product. Very much worth the trip.

Awesome service! We had preventative maintenance performed on our propane fireplace insert. Service technician (Tyler) arrived on time, was polite and respectful. He took his shoes off without my asking. He worked efficiently and "left no trace". Cost was reasonable. I highly recommend Pennwood Home and Hearth!

We came close to avoiding the place due to the negative comments about the sales department. So glad we went. Our sales guy, Chris, was great. He took a lot of time showing and explaining each insert that was compatible with our opening. He was honest and didn't try to steer us towards the pricier models. We bought one that suited our needs. Love that the price quoted matched the readily available price sheet and included the unit, installation, and sales tax. Hoping the installation goes as smoothly.

Everyone was super nice, very educated on their products. The variety of rubs, spices and sauces were impressive. Also, alot of different wood chips for smokers- which I never knew there were that many...Thanks to the staff for all your help!!!

Quality products at the high end of the price range. Knowledgeable and qualified staff and sales personnel. I have bought a propane fireplace insert, and small propane grill/griddle for my RV, and a fire pit for a patio. All working well and looking good!

For awhile now I have been wanting to get into some more barbequing and smoking. I knew about the vast amount of styles of smokers but didn't know much details about any. Stopped in here to learn about each and what may be best for me. The salesman Chris did all that and more. I was very impressed with his knowledge of all different styles they had to offer. He was not pushy by any means. They were making ribs on the Saturday I stopped in for an example of what you can do with the grills. They quite possibly may have been the best ribs I have eaten. Chris was very patient with my hungry, tired and cranky son as I shopped. He also wanted to make sure he got to try the ribs as well. Ultimately I decided on buying a pellet grill. Still very new to me but I am very pleased with my purchase, and I am just as pleased with the service I received from pennwood. I will return there and recommend you do the same.

We have purchased two Big Green Egg's here and the service is excellent! They have just about anything you would ever need for BBQ/smoking in stock. I've also purchased a few Yeti coolers and cups here as well. The guys there are great to deal with and very informative. They have our business for life.

Would recommend. Probably not the cheapest but they installed a gas fireplace and the quality/service was exceptional. I am doing the finishing details myself to save money for other projects and the technicians almost teared up not being able to go from start to finish. They treat the project as though the work is being done for their own consumption .

Tyler, the service tech who came out to troubleshoot an issue with our fireplace, was great! He explained what he was doing and the reasoning behind each step. He also gave helpful tips on keeping our fireplace in the best condition.

Great selection of great products. These guys know their stuff as well. Very knowledgeable. I bought a Big Green Egg there and a Yeti cooler and I get all my bbq stuff there. Very friendly as well.

I am scheduled to have my 6th fireplace installation this month. This one is really expensive but I wouldn't think of going anywhere else because I know that I will get everything I pay for followed by excellent service. I am sorry to see reviews from people who felt the were not responsive. This has never been my experience. Communication is a two way street.
