Such an awesome local spot if you need a cheap and tasty bite before heading to the border. I had the chicken fried steak and it was so tasty. The service was great it was incredibly busy for 11 on a Friday but the food was hot and fresh and good. Can't find chicken fried steak anywhere else for $10.50

If you're looking for a small town diner, this is it! I tried the deluxe burger and also the hotdog with fries. Talk about fresh and cooked too perfection! The buns were even grilled to a perfect buttery crisp! Oh did I mention the dog came with relish on the side, most places make you ask for it. The wait staff was very friendly and prices were great!

Had a special on mushrooms burgers.
It was good, and had plenty of fries.

It can be snug fit as the place is small. But it's a popular place for lunch for the locals.

It was a heavenly experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The soup (corn chowder) was divine! They have a sign saying "best soup in town" and I honestly think they are. The soup felt like a warm hug to my stomach. It brought me back to a home I never knew. I've never had food make me feel this way. I can't recommend this place enough. It was an absolute gem. Don't judge it by its appearance because at first glance you might be like me and not think much of it. But, BOY, is it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! The food will have you saying, "Bless the hands that made it!" even if you don't believe in God. It's that good. I could eat that soup ALL day! I also had the Dutch treat burger with fries and they were great too! But that soup, though... THAT SOUP!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This place is amazing.. The food is really.. really good! Price wise they are cheap yet the food quality is amazing. Also, they have really good service. You don't get many restaurants that deliver the quality/price like this place does. Highly recommend 👌

Atmosphere really doesn't count. This restaurant serves the BEST ice cream! The servers are polite, quick and helpful on selecting flavors....a lot to chose from. This is a destination place, not just a place to stop at casually. Whenever we're in the area, this is a definite stop

No gimmicks, no elaborate decorations, just great food at a fair price. The first breakfast I’ve had for less than $20 a person.

Good service, good serving for breakfast and the prices are about oh...10 to 20 percent less than most restaurants on the area for breakfast. The sausages were pretty dang large too!

Best restaurant in Lynden without a doubt. The atmosphere is fantastic and makes me feel nostalgic for a time period I never experienced. The food is amazing and somehow cheaper than Mcdonalds and the service is always great.

I love this small diner restaurant! It's such a hometown restaurant. It's small inside but I can usually find a seat. Local farmers gather for coffee. It has its steady stream of regulars. The waitresses are great! Food is yummy! I have had both breakfast and lunch here. Both are yummy!

Looking for good food at affordable prices? This is the place. They haven't raised their prices with all this inflation going on and still deliver the same sized breakfast 😋🤩

I love this little place! The food is always good and decently priced too. My bf and I will leave there stuffed and only spend $20 which makes The Dutch Treat my favorite breakfast place lol

Great food, milkshakes and service. Love the breakfast and lunch specials. Mom and pop type diner with lovely locals. Nothing fancy here just friendly service with reasonable prices. Pancakes are quite large and very tasty. Salads are fresh and generous.

Breakfast all-day! Good breakfasts, like it should be, in a friendly, unpretentious, traditional diner. Lunch is great, too. We've had hot and cold sandwiches (Reuben, tuna salad) and burgers and they were excellent. Good service and prices, too. We come here regularly -- drive up from Bellingham -- and wish we'd discovered it sooner. It's popular with the locals, and that says a lot.
