I wanted to take my wife someplace with more ambiance than a regular restaurant and Foxfire at the Stone Barn was a smashing success. Reasonable prices, killer atmosphere, great food. I got a burger (pictured). She got steak frites. Both were wonderful.

First time eating dinner there. Won' t be the last, that's for sure. My wife had the chicken parmesan, and I had the half rack of lamb. Excellent meal!! Service was great, very friendly atmosphere, and we met a very nice couple and their two children who were sitting at the table next to us. They actually told us how good the food was and that we were in for a treat.
Just like to give a shout-out to everyone there for an awesome dinner and dining experience

We had a lovely brunch on the patio on a quiet, sunny Saturday. The atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing, service was good, and the food was prompt and delicious. Its countryside location was also well worth the drive while inspiring views and local farms from which some of the food is grown.

Beautiful restaurant, great service, amazing food - what's not to love? Your mushroom chowder and lamb shank are our faves! We couldn't have picked a better venue to celebrate with friends! Thank you and Happy New Year!

Our new BYOB brunch spot. We loved the live guitar and authentic barn atmosphere, but it was the amazing crab benedict and loaded home fries that wowed us. the crab bennie offered a healthy 6-8 oz of delicious crabby goodness, and when that poached yolk hits it, the magic happens. their biscuits and gravy were more than we needed but worth it. that gravy will bring tears to your eyes.

Make a reservation because they're very busy Sunday mornings.

Yooooo….if you hitting longwood, don’t skip this one, this place is awesome, all the goat cheese and wine poached pears please! Such a cool atmosphere with the rustic barn interior. Outside patio looked fun as well. Bring your own drank tho! Like the one dude who had a back pack full of wine…he knew!

We hosted a rehearsal dinner in The Stone Barn in their Hunt Room this past Friday night. Leading up to the event, we were blown-away with the hospitality and assistance by the organizer, Tiffany. She went above and beyond in helping us to arrange for a perfect evening. All of our guests raved about the food and the service was impeccable. We highly recommend The Stone Barn for an event space!

Came here with some family members for their Sunday brunch. It was delicious! They had a breakfast section, lunch section, salad selections, soups, huge dessert table and a few other things. The building itself was really cool as well. We walked all over the property and checked out the old mill and lake. Very cool!

Great authentic rustic atmosphere, with a huge fire places, all wood structure and grand rooms tucked into the rolling hills of one of the more beautiful sections of Pennsylvania. Friendly service, tasty main courses and desserts. Note, it is BYO so be sure to come prepared.

The food was beautiful and delicious. Even the pre-meal bread and butter were great. Service was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff. My only critique would be about the fried mushrooms. The sauce was very bland and didn’t have much flavor. I found myself wanting some spiciness or zest, but there was none. The duck confit tacos were amazing and so was the butternut squash ravioli.

Went there for a nice Sunday Brunch. The breakfast was fantastic. I had a special, a bagel that was shockingly good and my wife had a full breakfast platter.
Everything was fresh and delicious. If you are in the area stop by.

We were married here 11 years ago today and have come back to Foxfire for dinner 3 times now. Each time the food is delicious and just keeps getting better. They use farm fresh, local, clean ingredients. They are a BYOB with plenty of mixers to your vodka or rum. Tonight we had the Butternut Squash Ravioli which was to die for. I savored every perfectly seasoned bite. My husband had the Pablano Venison loin medium rare and it melt in his mouth. It was fantastic. We still love the rustic ambiance and decor. We look forward to coming back with our daughter and recreating some wedding photos. Cannot recommend this place enough for dinner and weddings.

Honestly I wish I could give 4.5 stars. The food was delicious, well-executed, clearly the chef's own design without veering into the ridiculous just for the sake of uniquity. Service was excellent. But...the kitchen was behind on times. There was a large party which I think screwed them over, but our desserts took over 20 mins. They were cold slices of pies, etc. No prep required. I'll give the benefit of the doubt on the entrees, as one of our party ruined her steak by ordering well done. We were seated at 630 and had to rush to get the deserts boxed at 820. App, entree, dessert. 2 hours.

We ate at the Foxfire Restaurant for our wedding anniversary in late September. It was very cozy for a cold day, and not overly crowded. We had the calamari and mussels appetizers. Both were very generous portions, especially for seafood, and delicious. One disappointment was that the mussels only had one small piece of bread/crostini served with them. There was tons of broth leftover and as soon as the plate was cleared, we were brought a serving of bread for the table. Normally I would expect table bread before apps, and my husband wished he could've enjoyed more of the broth but we weren't expecting the additional bread.

I do think for any table that isn't doing BYOB, the water carafe should be brought to the table without asking as the glasses are quite small and service can get busy.

My entrée was a Branzino Almondine, but the chef was nice enough to agree to do without the almonds at my request. It was a very large portion for the price and quite filling. This was not an allergy situation, just a preference, so I was very happy to be able to enjoy a less common fish with a presentation I loved.

My husband had the Korean Sticky Short Ribs. Although the short ribs were not the presentation we were expecting as they came with the whole bone inside, the flavor was nice despite being a little difficult to manage. I don't think we'd order this dish again, but it was a good meal still.

For dessert, we shared the apple fritter a la mode. Flavor was great but I would not get again for the price. It was a very small portion compared to the other dishes.

Overall though, the price was beyond reasonable for apps, dinner, and dessert for two, and the ambiance and delicious food made it one of the best anniversaries we've ever had. This is a little gem we'd never been to before, but we can't wait to visit again.

Great breakfast spot in a beautiful old stone barn. Foxfire is the restaurant name with a nice covered patio outside. Food and service was good.

Party of 8 had no complaints about any meal. Good portions served in timely manner. Open barn with large wooden beams. Beautiful countryside drive to get there.
