Roots Cafe

Came here for my birthday brunch and the food did not disappoint! There were a decent amount of vegetarian options to choose from. My sandwich was a good sized portion and was delicious, and the cocktail I had was excellent. They came out very quickly too. It’s cute inside, but my only complaint is that the tables are very very close together so we were kind of uncomfortably close to other guests. I’d be interested in checking out the patio next time.

This past Saturday two girlfriends and I had a really lovely brunch here. Since it was a Saturday there was a long wait but it was totally worth it! The hosts were very kind and helpful. Once we got to our table our waitress was really sweet and attentive. We all ordered mocktails which were delicious! We shared the scrapple fries, which were life changing. I am a huge fan of scrapple and loved seeing how much it was incorporated into the menu. Our food came out really quickly and was absolutely delicious. Overall we had a lovely time there! Will definitely be coming back :)

Next level food! Everything is scrumptious. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Outdoor space is great to catch some sun or chill under the shade. Eat here!

Always have a great experience here. I love how cute it is. Saw the outside patio, it would be nice for a cute date but definitely not equipped for huge crowds back there. I did not know they had their own store upstairs so please check that out. It is pretty cool. Food is so good. I love coming here every now and then.

Fresh and satisfying brunch. I might call it elegant comfort food. We're definitely going again. Don't worry about leaving hungry- the portions are sufficient! Everything was so well executed and presented!! Indoor and outdoor seating. Cocktails and craft beer including a delicious mimosa flight! All of the "benedict" options are to die for. Street parking and a garage nearby.

First time going this morning. Stopped in for brunch and was super happy with my selection. Wife and I skipped the appetizer for a Mimosa Flight🥂. Very tasty! She ordered the Vegetarian Benedict and I had the Mushroom Hash. Both dishes were fresh and delicious! Our server Abby was fast, friendly and super attentive. Definitely recommend you stop in for a bite;)

Roots is the best! Even when you have to wait for a table it’s WORTH IT! Sometimes they are super busy and it’s a small place so I give them grace! Servers are attentive and friendly and as mentioned by a reviewer below, “servers (are) walking by regularly”, so you know you can get help whenever you need it. The other reviewer below with the same last name mentioned how cute the atmosphere was and I just have to agree! The garden is blooming right now baby!!! Mocktail list is absolute fire and I will request to eat their chicken sandwich on my death bed.

Wow what can I say. The service was fantastic. The food was fantasticker and the drinks were yet even fantasticker. I love Eggs Benedict, and these, without a doubt, were the best I've ever eaten. The Bloody Mary was perfectly spiced, and my daughter had a lavender lemonade tha had amazing flavor. Everyone in our party loved their meals. Thanks Roots, We;ll be back

I ordered a wonderful brunch dish with Mushrooms, Onions, Sweet Potatoes, Sun Dried Tomatoes, and 2 eggs over medium drizzled with Hollandaise Sauce. The food was incredible. The service was great.

Great local place! The music, the food, and the vibes are amazing. The coffee martini is one of the best I’ve ever had. (It is on the sweet side) and the autumn grilled cheese and pumpkin bisque is a must! Great prompt service. Cory was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

Such a gem! We have to Roots twice now and both times it has been a good review worthy experience. The food quality is great, dishes are flavourful and relishing. Friendly service and smiling faces! Definitely a must try.

The outdoor eating area is beautiful! This restaurant is a secret gem in West Chester! The best brunch I've ever had!

Food was very good and servers were very polite. Nice homey feel to the whole place. I ordered the house lemonade, and it tasted like it was made with real lemons. Went for breakfast and was not disappointed, can't wait to try this place at lunch. I highly recommend going here, but be warned, it is a bit pricey since all their food is organic.

The outdoor seating at the back of the restaurant was quite nice, enclosed by walls and warm by heaters, just watch your steps walking back and forth through the restaurant. We ordered the cafe popular corn beef hush and corn beef Rachel sandwich. The serving size was bigger than average and both were very good. Nice service and definitely worth the visit.

Very nice atmosphere and staff. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait this morning at around 10am we were able to get a seat right away. They do change around their which is borne a good and bad thing bad if you fall in love with a particular dish great if you’re excited for something new. The staff is very knowledgeable on what they’re serving as well as where their food comes from. They do have a good amount of vegetarian/ vegan options as well. I highly suggest this place their food and service speaks for itself.

I had brunch here today with a friend. It is a true hidden gem!!! The service was phenomenal. We were greeted with a smile when we came in and our server Chad was awesome!! The food was delicious and well prepared. The presentation was everything! If you like a small restaurant with a nice atmosphere, nice people, without all of the noise, you should definitely go here. I can't wait to go back, my compliments to the chef!!

Organic to the core in terms of each food item...loved the Avocado n eggs bendict + Ratatouille.... Basic but their multi grain breads have a taste I had never tasted so far .... :)
If u good to drink - try their Mimosa for sure !

Visited again and this time tried Jalapeño Margarita 👻 it’s totally worth it if you have some love for Spicy drinks 🍹 ....
to top it all Avocado roasts taste the freshest n the best ! The outside seating is a perfect place for a good brunch Without a doubt ... I love the place and can’t have it enough ever !!
The shades of red on the food created by the umbrella adds to the overall view n feel of the place !!!

Flavor combinations on point. Service on point. Food came out promptly. Price a little high for a cafe vibe but with local, sustainable food sources I’m willing to go there. Also don’t miss out on a chance to try their in-house made hot sauce.

I would highly recommend making reservation online takes only a sec to make it. Organic local grown fresh cooked comfort food. Don’t miss out if u get a chance, cozy nd artsy place...lots of wall art for sale. Has a small menu, Egg Benedict’s came out perfect, Omelette is so soft.
