6 Paupers Tavern & Restaurant

After a visit to Longwood Gardens this was one of the only restaurants available around. We were welcomed by a warm server. He knew his stuff & was so very accommodating. I got the French dip & fries my girlfriend got the chicken sandwich. Both were great. We will revisit when we are in the area.

Came in last minute with a fairly large group. Was seated quickly and had a great time. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was all served quick, hot, and with no errors. I had the hamburger which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Other standouts were the fish tacos and mushroom ravioli. Looking forward to returning soon.

We stopped by on a whim and we are so glad we did. Everyone was so friendly...both staff and other patrons. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. It's about an hour away from where we live, but we will definitely be making the trip again.

I had the filet mignon and it was delicious. My mother had the pork chop and it was huge! She said it tasted wonderful as well. I liked the cozy atmosphere and the service was great.

Very nice place. Very Tasty Cheesesteak. You have to pay the Hockessin price of $12. It did come with french fries. The Cheesesteak was very small. Very good ingredients. Very good grill person. It was a very small cheesesteak. It also needed more cheese. What I really liked about six Paupers is they keep a nice selection of beer on tap. Specifically they always have a sour on tap. Very good overall experience, it was just a small cheesesteak.

Great meal! Wedge salad was fantastic and the crab pretzel is a must.

My first time there, and everything was wonderful. I ordered the crispy brussel sprout Ceasars salad, and the mushroom ravioli. I will definitely recommend others to dine here. I will be returning. Thank you for such a delightful experience.

I go there every Thursday for a poker league, arriving before the game to enjoy time at their beautiful bar with friendly bartenders and to have a good meal. The menu offers continual specials so always something new to try. Poker is played in their private backroom with excellent service throughout the evening. Great bar and restaurant!

The food and the service is always really great there. There is a big group of us that play poker there on Thursdays and Danielle is usually the waitress! Ask for her next time you’re in she’s great!

The food and service was exceptional. We went with friends and we all ordered something different. Everyone raved about how good their meal was. Dessert was equally as good. We will definitely be going back.

Always a favorite stop when in the area, the staff is always pleasant and professional. The manager is always interactive and good with the drink suggestions. Excellent draft selection and the food is great. Thanks Ron!

Food,And Staff Are Fun And Pleasant!! The Atmosphere Is Kid Friendly And They Are Reasonably Priced!! Bring Your Appetite!! AND ALL THE BARTENDERS ROCK!!!!

I have been eating at 6 Paupers for as long as they've been open and I've never been disappointed with the food. It's always good. The atmosphere is low key and casual but sophisticated at the same time. My husband and I ate their tonight- got calamari for an appetizer, mushroom ravioli and cobb salad for dinner. Everything was DELICIOUS. For real. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. Waitress was great. Super enjoyable experience all around.

Great time at 6p’s last night with a few out of town friends. Our Server Bridget knocked it out of the park from the initial greeting to making sure our drinks were filled and food out on time!! Hard to find good service these days but had an excellent experience..will be back!!

Ate there at 11 at night. Their light late night fare was really good. The server (who was also bartending) was very nice and the food came out quickly. Would definitely eat there again.

Love this spot! Really great food - I had the mahi salad and it was incredible. Our server was fantastic and the hostess was so welcoming! We’ll be back for happy hour and weekend brunch!
