I came here with my friend and we had a blast! She reserved a table for 5:00pm and we played a game called We're Not Really Strangers, which was awesome because we talked about so many cool things!!! I love questions!! ♡ We had salt and vinegar popcorn, a candy flight and two rootbeers 🙂 the customer was perfect and everyone was very friendly ♡ I hope I can come back soon!

Great staff! They do an amazing job to make sure everyone is well taken care of. Portions are big and great for sharing. We have been here a few times, and keep coming back. It’s a great place to bring family, friends or a date!

Boardwalk is such a great place to be and they have very reasonable prices! It has a great atmosphere and you’re sure to have a good time with friends. Also check out their monthly events if you don’t have other boardgamers in your life, they tend to be very welcoming

This place has so many boardgames that it's very hard to choose what to play. The service is wonderful and the drinks are pretty great. The food needs to be refined slightly, but they weren't bad at all. I will recommend this place to everyone

A wonderful place to spend an afternoon with friends eating snacks and playing board games. The candy flight is quite fun, although definitely too much candy for 2 people haha.

First time visiting the cafe, it has such a chill vibe going on, groups are playing their board games. You can get both hot and cold drinks with snacks to. The charge is just $5 for as many board games you want to play. Great hangout place for friends! p.s. the chai latte was amazing!

Great space, solid games selection, surprisingly good food, drinks, and coffee! I appreciate how staff come over to offer instructional assistance, keep your game space clear of dishes, and keep a tab of all your food. Very reasonable cover charge. Big tables. I hope they stay open for years!

A great little place located in downtown Abbotsford. Very inexpensive to reserve a table and play whatever games you want. You can even stay as long as you want for a flat fee! Highly recommend for date nights, group hangouts and fun times with friends and family. You can even reserve a private room!

Great place to meet a friend. Their menu is generous! They have options for candy flights too. If you want to play games it’s extra but not too much. So many game selections. Will definitely be back.

Our 1st visit and we really enjoyed learning to play a new game *Fog of Love*. We plan to return regularly and play the same game until we have mastered it. A fun and helpful staff too!

We love Boardwalk! My kids frequently request it for "Mom dates." We order the small bowls of candy and popcorn and make an afternoon out of trying fun new (and old) board games. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's a great place to hang out in our community.

We as a family love this place, the owners are so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about almost all the games they have. Food, snacks, and drinks are always well done and great value. Definitely the best game cafe and you won't wanna go elsewhere when you've gone here

Though the food selection is a bit more limited than a traditional restaurant, the food is great. There are over 300 board games available to play and if you don't know how to play a game the staff do and they are willing to take the time to help you learn to play it. It can get pretty busy, so booking a reservation might be a good idea but it's not necessary unless you want to use one of the private back rooms.

A wonderful cross between cafe, snack bar and board game shop, Boardwalk provides daily unlimited board game access for $5. Any game you want for as long as you want, food and drink (adult varieties too). The selection is varied and current - and the owner is always happy to help explain or adjudicate a game. Grab dinner or lunch and digest it for several hours over Exploding Kittens, Settlers of Catan (with the varied expansions), Risk / Axis and Allies, Murder in Baldur's Gate, Photosynthesis, so many games, so little time. Check them out with a couple friends - I just lost three consecutive games of Marrying Mr.Darcy.
