Beautiful home The owners are genuinely great people- friendly, accommodating and offer a wealth of knowledge on the area for fishing, hiking,hunting. Perfect spot for a family looking for a weekend getaway. Kudos to Kathleen and Terry !

The Fishing Creek Lodge has done made my bed and breakfast experience the most heavenly. It was truly a blessing for me to have gotten to stay here and be welcomed as polite and sincerely as I was. Honestly I can't imagine a better place than this one! I Highly HIGHLY recommend this. It was so much more than I expected, outside/inside activities, book selection, I feel like they have covered everything you would want to do they have provided it all for you! There's all your necessities already provided for you. They are working on making a coffee shop right beside it on the other side and can't wait to come back again which I will be doing.I really needed an overnight stay and she accommodated that for me. I could not thank you guys enough! This review doesn't even compare to the actual experience. You'll just have to book a stay yourself and see! I promise you won't be let down!!

Excellent get away from the big city. The cafe is now open, its run by he new owners. The food is really good and the pastries are excellent too.
This was our 2nd visit this year and we really love the entire area.

Absolutely beautiful! A lot of attention to detail went into the decorating and preparing for guests, including fresh cut flowers! Well stocked kitchen, gorgeous decor, very clean! Couldn't ask for more. 5+ stars!!!!

We stayed here for one night when we were participating in a group hike at Ricketts Glen, which is just up the road. The owner, Karen, and her son, Mike were both most gracious, welcoming and attentive to whatever we needed to make our stay comfortable. This is a 130 year old building, so, yes, if you're looking for the Hilton, it isn't here. I think the people who have posted negative reviews are really sure how country Bed and Breakfasts work. I found the accommodations exactly what you would expect for the price and the owners, and their adorable cat, Mama, were eager to make your stay pleasant. Got exactly what we were looking for. Would return and recommend.

My daughter and I just stayed here for a second time as we hiked the trails to see the waterfalls. We learned the place is under a new owner. They are very pleasant and are doing great new things to the bed and breakfast. It’s going to look amazing when they finish. The area is quiet, outside a few passing vehicles. My next hiking trip I will be staying here for a third time.

Cozy homey place with personality. Hardworking hosting people that actually care how you feel. Very informal relaxing atmosphere. Basic breakfast included in the price, hot breakfast by Karen for little extra charge was amazing! It was very nice to have dinner of our choice after walking at Ricketts Glen all day. Homemade like food by certified chef Michael was delicious! We really enjoyed our stay!

We want on a trip to see some waterfalls and decided to try to stay overnight. My wife, six year old and puppy were welcomed with open arms. Felt like home. We were whipped up a nice dinner on premise and given great coffee and breakfast before we headed out. Cool place, friendly people and we never once felt like strangers from New Jersey. Beautiful little place that will surprise you. Lots close by to dio and very quaint, rustic, and quiet. Menu is amazing and will surprise you. Fresh seafood dishes and the staff is wonderful and so down to earth. Can't wait to go back. Menu is always changing so check it out and bring your appetite.

This place was heaven sent! With 2 big dogs, broken down vechicle. karen and Mike could not have been more understanding and HELPFUL! we made the best of our situation, however Karen and Mike made sure we were ok......The food here is absolutely amazing and the place is clean, charming and close to beautiful waterfalls. Again FRESH seafood, AMAZING, owners AMAZING!!!

LOL. My experience with this location was from, umm, all my life!! I was raised here and still refer to it as my house!! Last time I was inside however, it looked good!! Lots of memories here, make some of your own!!! Plenty to do in area!!

First of all, we are still here as I leave this review. If you're looking for the Ritz or a Best Western, this is not your place to stay. This is a home. It is home-ie feeling. It has a kitchen, with all of the amenities you expect in a kitchen. They are yours to use, and yours to clean up after. It has two full bathrooms, stocked with what you expect a bathroom to be stocked with for overnight stays. These spaces, much like a house or an air bnb house, are communal. They are lovely, with lovely people in a lovely place. Karen, the proprietor and business owner (this Lodge is connected to a restaurant/market) is a lovely, fair woman who wants nothing more than to make this space nice for you. Think of this space as a cabin in the woods. Things may not be completely up-to-date. It is a Fishing Creek Lodge. But we are having a blast. I'd be glad to answer any questions.

Great place to grab some supplies when in the mountains! Have gotten fresh clams several times. This past Saturday they were amazing as usual over an open fire! Thank you for taking care of me!

Love this place! Food is beyond amazing and very affordable! Chef Michael KNOWS food! This place is an absolute hidden gem! You can get soup and a sandwich, a hoagie to-go, or a ribeye steak dinner. Oh, and there's ALWAYS fresh seafood!

Very accommodating lodge. Karen was flexible about our checkout and allowed us to keep our luggage there while we hiked at ricketts glen park. Very nice people, a cozy stay

A delightful surprise along Fishing Creek. Great Chicken Corn Soup and excellent sandwiches. Owner operator Mike was very accommodating. Looking forward to return visits.
