Central Park

We had a great afternoon spent at the bar. We had some great conversation with people we didn’t even know. Many laughs and felt very much at home. Very friendly atmosphere, great drinks and Danny our bartender was a wonderful addition with some great stories. Give it a try, it certainly makes a nice Sunday drive with beautiful scenery.

I can't rate the rooms since we head home after our visits, but I must say, the new owners have done a fantastic job preserving the awesome atmosphere and cool history of the place. They've made subtle updates without sacrificing its historic charm. The food is outstanding, especially MaryGrace's desserts that I always save room for. Danny, whether he is behind the bar or running around waiting tables, adds to the enjoyable atmosphere. The new owner is pretty cool too. If you're in the area and looking for a hidden gem, this place won't disappoint. Make a reservation for a weekend table as it gets busy, but it's definitely worth the wait if you have to sit at the bar and wait on your table.

This is about food and drinks! Rooms? No clue. The new version of the old Central Hotel is delightful and delicious. Highly recommend making some reservations and high tailing it up to deer and snowmobile country this weekend. The specials are varying and so yummy. The wait staff is happy to be there. The diners are relaxed and full by the time they finish their dessert. (Definitely take one home if too full, you won't be disappointed.

Our table had the variety pack- steamed clams, scallops au gratin, chicken, a shrimp app, he pretzel app, seafood bisque, fried, cheese, and all the desserts (to go because we were all too full.

Had a few drinks at the bar and the tender was attentive and friendly even with a full bar to serve.

CPH food, atmosphere and service is 11/10. The food is fresh, and the desserts are like none other!

Me and my elderly husband were served by a waiter named Aiden George and he was just the greatest one of all time and I love him sooooooo much! Please raise his wages.

Amazing food, amazing staff and some seriously good times!

My wife & i had dinner here on saturday night for a date & it was phenomenal! Our server, rachel eshelman was fantastic, thank you for everything rachel, it was incredible food, great atmosphere, amazing service. Loved every second of it & will be returning again! Probably this weekend haha cant reccomend this enough if youre in the area. Everything looks amazing on the menu, we couldnt decide what delicious entree to get, but we plan on returning & trying a lot more!

Everything about this place is great! You walk in to a warm and unique dining area with the bar to the right. Our son was captivated by all the wall mountings. Service was timely and friendly. The food was delicious. The fried chicken and ribs were so good, exactly what we hoped for in our meals. The drink menu was full and the cocktails were delicious! It’s a perfect stop if you’re visiting the area or stopping by for a quick bite by Ricketts Glen the state park. We will absolutely visit again if we’re in the area!

This was one of the first places I ate in with my wife when I moved here, and it quickly became one of my favorites. I've never had a bad experience with the old owner, and the new owner is kicking butt with the place. Many menu and building upgrades. Menu has a great variety , and the prime rib cheeseteak is the best cheesesteak I've had that I can remember. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is great, and yes! The beloved Buffalo (and friends) and a wall tastefully displaying the original wallpaper are still there. I love coming here after hitting some of the local trails and chatting at the bar. Haven't stayed in the rooms but based on IG photos of the rooms and some of the upgrades, I'm sure they deserve 5 stars too!

Never been hear but love the owners responses to bad reviews

I have not stayed in the hotel portion but I have been to the restaurant. The food was fantastic, large meaty crab cakes that did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and quick. Good selection of beer, wine & liquor. Busy and popular place with unique decor.

Had dinner there with my wife. The food was excellent and the service was great despite the place being packed with people.

Awesome food at reasonable prices. I had the broiled seafood platter with a baked potato and garlic spinach and everything was delicious. My wife had a rack of baby back ribs and said they were delicious too. The place is very cool with taxidermy animals on all the walls and even the bear in the tree.

Love coming here for dinner. Stopped after hiking and found a tick on myself near the end of dinner. Laid back and casual enough that my reaction didn't cause a scene

They have good food at reasonable prices. The service was great too. There were several beers on draft and strawberry rhubarb sangria. And if you are there on Saturday night you may get to enjoy live music as well
