The food was absolutely delicious. My fiance got their steak feature and I don't think he came up for air 😂. I ordered the Prime Rib and it was the best I've had. The waitress gave excellent service as well. The wait time was nothing at all. Our reservation was for 630 (we were a couple minutes early) and we were done with our dinner by 7:09. Definitely recommend! Can't wait to go back.

Love this place! Stayed a night on a motorcycle trip, had supper in the restaurant, food was excellent. Staff let us park our motorcycles in the back on the sidewalk. Rooms are small, shared bath down the hall, two twin beds, PERFECT for a couple guys on a cycle trip! Only thing missing was a nice sitting room with a fireplace

Such a nice, cozy atmosphere. The service was great and the meal(s) were even better. I enjoyed a deliciously-fresh salad and was well pleased with its presentation and the generous portion containing many delicious accompaniments. Make sure you stop for lunch and/or dinner. Trust me...you will return time and time again. Plus, ask for Rachel...she's a fantastic server and a welcoming presence.

Went for dinner there! Absolutely amazing food and exceptional service. The only disappointment was that I hadn't gone there sooner! I had the crab cakes, which I have to say haven't had a crab cake this amazing since I was a kid. My husband had the tuna steak, which was absolutely amazing! Also had dessert and drinks all at amazing prices! Can't wait to go back soon!

Out standing. Best food ever. Little pricey but worth it

Friendly people, and great food. Little bit pricey but the meal is worth, if you're hungry. Wife's plate was dirty, but that was taken care of. Not a spot on the rest, because binocular eyes looked everything over after that. And everything was good.

The restaurant is fantastic and the staff is so friendly. Reservations are a must for this popular place for lunch or dinner. Also, specify inside or outside on nice days.

athe rooms were nothing special. a bed is a bed, as far as I'm concerned when I'm hiking. the shower water got cold fast, the door was hard to open and close, and the back door didnt seem to shut firmly.

BUT THE FOOD. The servers were so friendly, they got me ice for my cooler when i needed it, and they gave me coffees to go. The prime rib was very tasty, I was impressed! Wish i would have taken photos.

Their sign says it all! In the middle of no where is this amazing restaurant. We were fit in on a Saturday night without reservations. We enjoyed meals cooked to perfection including a new favorite potato log. Not sure how I have driven past this place for years and never stopped. We will from now on. Reservations recommended throughout the year. Try their specials! Nice bar and hotel rooms too!

We (and some friends - total 6 people) made reservations here for 2023 Valentine's Day dinner, as we'd heard good things and wanted to see how it was.

Note: we live in the Wilkes-Barre area, so it was close to a 40 minute drive. Not difficult, but not a quick trip. The outside of the place is modest, and sits back off the road about 100yards I'd say. Plenty of parking, but overall, unremarkable, we all commented.

Once indoors, a fairly casual atmosphere in what I'd describe as a non assuming rustic type setting. Clean, comfortable, volume of the overall ambience was ideal. We could all talk around the table and didn't have to raise our voices.

We were seated quickly and received prompt and pleasant service. The menu wasn't extensive, but I consider that a good thing as they're able to concentrate on a fairly small list and should be good at it.....

Note: the menu is mostly seafood oriented, but there are a few items if you're not a fan of that kind of thing. I'm not a seafood lover, so I was happy to see that I didn't have to "make due", and had some non-surf type choices available to me. The menu also has a decent appetizer selection, and as the restaurant is connected to the bar area, you've got a good selection of adult beverages, if you're in the mood. Soft drinks and other non-alcoholic drinks are also in hand.

The food WAS really good! All 6 of us enjoyed our meals and had nothing but praise for the quality. Those of us who had surf based meals thought it was much better than average & one of turf diners stated that it was one of the best steaks they'd had in a long time. The service was professional & attentive, but not hovering. A nice desert selection was offered and those too, were Prices were very reasonable - it seemed that we spent on average @ 40$ a person - with desert, but alcohol NOT included.

We didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms. I was told there were 4 or 5 rooms available @ 75$(?) a night.

Overall, a hidden jewel of a dining experience. We'll definitely return when the weather is nicer, as I think it would compliment the overall vibe.

Definitely worth the drive we all thought. Give it a try; I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Very friendly, clean and the food is excellent! The waitresses are very nice. I can't wait to go back this weekend for another heavenly dinner. Sooooo Good!

This review is for the restaurant only. Been here three times over several years and each time the food is AMAZING! Never been disappointed. Was there with a large party and everyone loved their food. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

The Best clam chowder. Fast service, reservations suggested, they are always busy. Great food! There is plenty of hard-working staff.

Good fresh food at very reasonable prices. April 3rd 2022 we had a small party in the back room for my dads birthday. It was great and our waitress was terrific. The seafood was fresh and scrumptious and the Italian dishes savory. Nice casual atmosphere.

The meals were a good portion, prices pretty fair, bar is filled with great locals, staff was super nice!! Would definitely go back here to yry more dishes, very flavorful!!!

We had a great dinner and our server was great. Clam chowder was delicious. We also had the salmon, duck (special for the day), chicken parmesan (which could have fed 2 people!), and shrimp scampi. Everyone was very pleased with their meal. The place isn't fancy but they do have great food.

Bit of a distance away for us; however worth the trip. Even with the reduced menu we had no trouble finding something we enjoyed. Scallops were done to perfection & potato log was a first for us. Won't be the last! Our server was new but she gave exemplary service. This time of year the ride is beautiful, spent lovely evening here with good friends & terrific food. One of those times you hate to see end.

The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. My girlfriend said it felt like "home". Food (I had Filet Mignon, it was perfect and my girlfriend had Crab Cakes, she said they tasted fresh) and service was Great! We will definitely be going back.

Our waitress who worked 4/23/19 was AMAZING. She was quick, courteous, personable. Food was excellent. Steak cooked to perfection, both the crab meat and lava cake melted in your mouth. Good selection of beer. We will revisit!

We didn't stay in the hotel, but had dinner in the restaurant. The food was cooked perfectly, steak exactly how it should have been, chicken parm was outstanding, pasta was al Dente, broccoli was fresh and steamed well. NE Clam chowder was awesome! (And I really only like Manhattan). Waitress and her daughter, Em, were excellent! Super friendly and attentive! We will most certainly visit again! Very impressed! Even the mushrooms were tasty!!
