Family-owned bed and breakfast only 10-15 minutes drive from Ricketts Glen State Park. The room is warm and clean. If you like, you get chance to interact with farm animals like goats, hens and turkeys during your stay. The owners are friendly and helpful. I will definitely choose to stay here again if I will visit Ricketts Glen a second time.

We built memories on our first visit to The Old Tioga Inn! Laura was an excellent host, she made sure that we are well fed. We shared stories, stories that would come out only when you feel comfortable with the opposite person. She made us feel at home. The farm pets mesmerized our kids. I would highly recommend going here with kids and family. Hike to ricketglenns falls is the best. We are already planning for a next time, who knows we might catch the big foot! 😍❤

This place is like a hidden gem! It's only about 10 minutes from Ricketts Glen also, if you are looking to go there. This is a small bed and breakfast owned by a family, so you will most likely book your stay by talking directly to the owner. When we arrived, we got there pretty late at night. We were able to walk right into our room and the key was on the bed. You are able to access the rest of the house, where there were snacks and drinks available in the kitchen.

In the morning, breakfast was served at 8:30. We had eggs, bacon, and potatoes freshly prepared for us. There were 3 couples, including us. The menu is different daily. When booking your stay, they will ask if anyone has any food allergies. 2 of the 6 of us could not eat gluten, so the breakfast was all gluten free. Depending on the group, the owner said she does other options for breakfast.

We only stayed one night, so we did not get to stay very long, but it was very comfortable. The bed was huge and the bathroom had a shower and a jacuzzi tub. On the property there are also goats, chickens, turkeys, and a cat. You can walk right up to the animals and pet them.

Overall this is a very cool place, even though it is in the middle of nowhere. If we were to visit the area again, I would definitely stay here.

We came last year during the pandemic and had such a great time that we came again. Laura is an excellent hostess and she makes a wonderful breakfast. Children will love seeing all the animals. They keep chickens, goats, and turkeys and there are a few cats wandering around. There's a fire pit with chairs in the front yard if you're so inclined. The Inn is close to Ricketts Glen State Park. We love the area so much we may make this a fall tradition.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a recent weekend getaway at The Old Tioga Inn. Prior to arriving to the Inn, we were texted instructions on where to park, and how to access our room. We stayed in one of the “Master Quarter” suites, which featured such items as an electric fireplace and a jetted tub. The room itself was very cozy and had plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. After getting settled, we walked into the common area, where we found a living room, a sitting room with a bookcase and skylight, dining room with brochures for local attractions, tea, and coffee, and a kitchen with different baked breads. When we walked into breakfast the following morning, Laura, the owner/host, cooked us frittatas with breakfast potatoes and bacon. She gave us generous portions and the breakfast was really tasty. Laura really knew how to set a table too; you could also have orange juice, coffee, and fresh fruit at the table as well. The following day, Laura cooked us up another top notch breakfast, which included oats, sausage patties, and eggs. We really enjoyed Laura’s hospitality, and she shared her thoughts on points of interest in the area, as well as heard our stories from what we had seen so far, and what we planned on seeing. Check out was very easy, and we would absolutely come back to stay here if we were ever in the area again. Don’t miss out on his hidden gem!

My wife and I stayed there about 5 years ago and it was our first bed and breakfast experience. They really make you feel like it's your house. They are so friendly and accommodating and laid back people. It was truly an experience we will never forget. Our room was so nice and extremely clean. We will definitely return one of these days! Thanks again for such a great experience.

We stayed for 2 nights and would highly recommend a visit. The breakfasts were the best we ever had! Fresh fruit, homebaked breads, hashbrowns and eggs done gourmet style in muffin cups. We ate so much, we skipped lunch daily despite hiking. Each room has its own porch with views of woods and fields. When we visited, there were baby goats, sheep, chickens to watch. The Inn is just minutes from Ricketts Glen State Park and several restaurants for dinner. Each room is artfully decorated to a theme--ours was fishing.

What a wonderful establishment! My wife and I spent our first anniversary weekend at Ricketts Glen, and chose the Old Tioga B&B based on the numerous excellent reviews it had received online. The reviews did not lie: this was a great place to stay. Laura was a tremendous host; she was only a text away from answering any questions we had, provided a hearty breakfast every morning, and gave us some great advice on hiking the Falls Trail at the park (yes, parking at the bottom, hiking up the left side of the “Y” and crossing over at the Highland Trail to hike down the other side was absolutely the best way to do it). We enjoyed the experience of meeting new people at breakfast, relaxing in this laid back venue, and even enjoyed a campfire one night. If I had to list any gripes about the B&B, it would be that the Internet was spotty at best. However, that’s not on Laura, it’s merely a product of living out in the country where she does, and did not negatively affect our stay there in any way. Thank you for everything during our stay to make our first anniversary weekend memorable, Laura!

Great place to get away! Either if it's by yourself, with your significant other, or your family. The breakfast is to die for! The two times I've been there I had stuffed french toast, sausage, potatoes and I'm sure there was more that I'm forgetting. The local coffee is extremely good, sold at the inn. The host also sells herbal oil, Sasquatch clothes, coffee as well as other do dads. Would highly recommend to anyone and I can't wait to go back!

Really great B&B! The people are very friendly and very welcoming!
Rooms are nice! Breakfast was tasty and nice all sat at the same table. You get served by the kids as the parents cook - its nice. They have a few animals all very friendly and was a nice extra - loved the dogs and the goats. Also 2 cats.
Some notes: Dont turn the heating on too much as it doesnt warm up pretty quick - we had it on about 70 and had to turn it off in the middle of the night. The jacuzzi was nice but just use the hot tap; dont bother putting cold it. Nice huge shower.
Room backed onto forest with a small deck (next to other rooms decks).
Oh and of course the main reason we originally picked this place is its about 10-20 minutes to the Ricketts Glen hikes and the people here have good advice so speak to them and ask for tips - we did the falls hike and followed their advice. We are going to recommend this place to anyone that we know is goign to Ricketts Glen! Oh and we will probably be back at some point too. Oh and tea and coffee always available and just help yourself as to were some baked treats! :)
RECOMMENDED!

The inn was pleasant, warm and inviting! I loved being able to stay close to Ricketts Glen park. Also, being able to bring my dog was an amazingly enjoyable experience! I will definitely be back. So easy, great food, awesome company.

This charming B&B with bear decor has the best of both worlds - the cozy comfort of a homemade breakfast at a B&B and the privacy of a hotel room, when you book one of the attached cabins with private entrances/decks and jacuzzis. You can also choose to have breakfast in the privacy of your room. The property comes with a small animal farm with goats and a friendly cat, and they sell soap and other natural products made with the goat milk.

Joe and I loved our stay. Close to Ricketts Glen park. Room was warm and cozy. Breakfast was delicious and the hot water stayed hot enough for two showers.

Beautiful rustic log cabin B&B with rooms available from honeymoon suite to fisherman's quarters. Friendly and helpful proprietor thought of everything you probably want and offers complementary and 'for purchase' items throughout the inn. Several cats and goats live on the property for your general emjoyment. Outdoor relaxation areas include covered deck with tables and seating, and a fire pit.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and enough to hold you over til supper time. Inn keeper was nice and friendly. Even an animal or two around for your enjoyment if you desire.
