I haven't been there in a long time... (6 years, it (Google Maps) said!) Time for a visit! 😻 🐈‍⬛

I used to take my large dog, who needed hip surgery, my small dog for a slipped disc in his back, and Miss Kitty for shots (well, the whole crew got shots!)
Fabulous Vet - Dr. Father and Dr. Son Team! I'm going to take Miss Kitty back there, I'm too afraid of a new Vet for her.
I know she'll be well cared for there, from past experiences.

Took my dogs for their rabbi’s shots and it was a walk in. If you plan on going, go early it’s a bit of a wait but I didn’t mind the wait. The price was great! I let them know ahead of time my dogs are aggressive towards other dogs and they worked with me and allowed us to enter thru a different entrance, really liked that! It was quick in and out. Definitely recommend this place for your pets needs.

Dr Jones has been a great help with the family for 10 years we took our 4 year old dachshund at the time to take him to the zillah vet since his legs were being non functioning and they were charging a arm and leg for checkup and potential surgery procedure. Friend recommend me to this vet which is affordable and no need for surgery and he gotten our dog back up walking again . Would recommend to get schedule appointments instead of walk ins could range from 10min -2hrs visit since there alot of patients that come in. Now our dog is 12 years old and able to walk another day thanks to Dr.Jones

It seems that this place closed as of recently
I missed April 15th 2021 appointment
Came back April 22nd 2021
And seem there was a covid outbreak been trying to come back every week after that and try to call them to see what's going on . The phones ring through
They advised patients to go to the yakima vet or the Harrah vet
After I finish my may 13th and may 20th appointment I went over to check any update to the wapato vet
The cooler outside and the all schedule signage have disappeared from the clinic .

Update 2: seems they are open only on the weekends or special occasions best get there early ,because there decent wait time . Dr Jones have helped many people with his expertise and knowledge.
Our dog has passed on in February of 2022. I appreciate what doctor Jones and his staff have accomplished with our dog to this I thank you for providing my family 10 more years of life with our family member.

I can not thank the vet and staff enough for their help and kind consideration. We don't have an emergency vet service in Yakima anymore and I had a dog that suffered seizure after seizure on a Friday night. They were open on Saturday and told me to bring him in when the other places said they couldn't fit him in. The vet took the time to explain what he thought was going on and help him. The good news is that my dog is doing so much better and I hope, is on the mend.

Very experienced and knowledgeable about all types of animals. Dr. Jones and staff are very caring and friendly to us and our fur babies. ❤

Dr Jones is the best ! He is wise knowledgeable and he knows his craft.
He will not give your pets treatments that are not necessary or charge you fees to just walk in his office.
My dogs would not be alive without his services no other vet would help me (they are not taking new dogs and 300 to just have a pet x rays.
Dr Jones had our dogs cast on in no time . He has always been there, with all our pets emergencies.

I will forever be grateful for Dr. Jones. Our little frenchie fractured her elbow and no other vet/specialist would help her… In fact, our vet even “offered” to amputate her arm. We called every vet from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. I left Dr. Jones a voicemail on Friday evening because one of my friends referred me to him… I never expected him to call back. But he did on a Sunday afternoon and asked if I could bring her in Monday morning. That was the best decision I could have ever made. He performed surgery on her that evening and she ended up staying there for a few days after so he could keep an eye on her elbow and make sure she was healing correctly. Dr. Jones and the staff he has working there are literally god sent. I could not thank them enough… Our pets are our family and he took care of her like she was his family as well. 9 weeks later and a few long trips from Seattle to Yakima (well worth the drive btw!) our little girl is running around like never before.

After trusting our baby girl with Dr Jones decided to have him take a second look at our senior dog, Bear. We have taken him to different vets and specialists.. with his old age he was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and we were told we would have to spend a lot more money seeing more specialists and run many more tests. When Dr Jones met Bear he was in very poor health. His stomach was very bloated and he was lethargic. Dr Jones switched his medication and we brought him home.. After a couple of weeks and closely monitoring him we noticed he was losing his bloated belly, full of energy, and back to his normal self.

I will tell you this man is a miracle doctor. Our fur babies are always excited to see him and his staff! 10/10 I recommend. And if you care about your pets Dr. Jones is the one to see. 5 hours round trip is pretty long but even if Dr Jones was 10 hours away we would still make the trip! Thank you so much.

Dr Jones is amazing, great vet, great guy. He and his team provide super service at a very affordable price. Open Saturday morning till 1:00, good for people who work a normal day shift.

Dr. Jones is THE best veterinarian around. Just recently, one of our dogs got extremely sick. In fact, so sick that we had to take her in to a pet emergency clinic. She spent one night there, and when we picked her up the next morning, $2,300 later, she was in just as bad shape as when we dropped her off the night before. And still with no diagnosis. As soon as Dr. Jones' clinic opened, we brought her there, and within the hour, he had got her alert. The very next day, she was eating and drinking. The blood results between the two clinics were nothing alike. Looking at her now, it's impossible to imagine that she was on her death bed just 8 days ago. She spent 3 days at his clinic, and he saved her life, for only a little over $300.
We have a similar experience with another dog that we adopted at a very old age. The previous veterinarian insisted that it was a "persistent case of URS', and wanted to treat him with a third round of amoxicillin. It was not URS... Dr. Jones discovered that he had a severe case of heart murmur, on top of pneumonia and allergies. He too got much better almost instantly.
I have met several people in the lobby who have been unsuccessful getting their pets diagnosed, until they brought their pet to Dr. Jones. He genuinely cares about animals, and making vet care affordable. His knowledge and level of expertise is unbelievable.

Dr. Jones is a miracle worker! My dog would have died if it weren't for him. He and his dedicated staff are amazing and I have recommended them to almost everyone I talk to now!

Doesn’t over charge, or do any unexpected work without a phone call or great explained reason. Great to our pets. Educated, and is glad to help you with any questions before, during, and after. Training tips, helpful advice. Old building but excellent care.

Great place, fast service even when it's full,the vet-doc was very well educated.
That was during covid.

The place is small & nothing fancy. Sometimes it smells pretty bad BUT Dr Jones has saved several of my pets when no other vet would touch them (at the time chinchillas were considered exotic animals & no other vet would treat them) or this last time 2 vets misdiagnosed my dog before Doc Jones performed a surgery that saved his life. Doc is a tell it like it is good ole boy. No fancy bells & whistles. Just get the job done & get it done right the first time. I would def recommend. The only downfall is it's a 1 man show. Only 1 dr means less availability & shorter hours.

This is the most amazing and caring vet. We followed him from Graham! Dr Jones has such a care for animals. He is the most amazing guy/vet you can see. He has seen all our animals! He has such a passion for animals. He challenges himself every day and has so much knowledge to share.

Very friendly very cheap and affordable for my dog love worker there very helpful and my dog was kind of nervous at vet but she do great there with me and at first I ask for water for my dog and she drink some from their bowl and was very sick that day and vet gave meds that would help her eat and drink she regained back to her usually behavior which was very relieved and was not very expensive was great price for people with low income and animal lovers they do take dogs, cats
