Food was prepared masterfully. Our server was great, let us know about timing for food prep and made sure we were stocked with drinks and whatever we needed. The atmosphere is focused on clean, white interior, booth and high top seating available. They support open table reservations with credit card. We played a little game bayern my wife and I, guessing stay is a Xmas decoration vs year round given the hanging stars, mini lighted trees, and other misc chachkies. They have a robust menu with food and drinks ranging from espresso and teas to alcohols - mixed drinks, wine, etc.

The coffee was amazing and so was the food. If you are looking for a real treat, the crème brûlée waffle is incredible. I will probably order that each time I go. The service was a little slower, but the food was so good, we didn't mind at all.

Visit this place on a Sunday in hopes to get brunch, got there at 3:17 and they had ended brunch at 3. Was pretty upset considering I called before and a guy told me they end at 4 - driving all the way from Wilmington for brunch and not getting it was saddening. Luckily our waiter Anna was a fantastic waiter and recommended some great dishes like the short rib grilled cheese. She had our drinks together and everything, it was PERFECT.

Went there on a Monday and had brunch and it was well worth the drive. Ordered the French toast w/ Carmel and apples with the vanilla bean cream cheese in between. OMG so good.

Also ordered an omelette and it was pretty good, had to add a little pico and salt and pepper but good none the less and OH THE HOUSE FRIES.

Avenue Kitchen was a great surprise for us. We had planned to go to Not Your Average Joe's, but timing wise we were cutting it close, so canceled and picked a time for this wonderful place.
Were greeted by the host with a great smile and were led to our table, and shortly after our waitress came over
Was kind and pleasant.
Our appetizer was warm goat cheese with jam, and what seemed like garlic toast and the two together was extremely good. My entrée was the black salmon w spinach, and creamy risotto, Dawn had the brisket tacos, also very good, dessert cider doughnuts for me, and Dawn had the butter cake. From beginning to end definitely heading back soon.

My friend and I enjoyed lunch on a weekday afternoon. Her Caprese sandwich was nicely grilled and came with delicious fries. My grilled cheese plus short rib was amazing. It should have been billed as short rib plus grilled cheese, it was stacked so high with thinly sliced, tender and tasty short rib. The accompanying side salad provided a refreshing counterpart.

Classy atmosphere, great selections, reasonable pricing. This is a nice place for a romantic dinner, lunch w friends, business meeting. Not a kid friendly space. The menu offered comfort food--meatloaf - awesome; and inventive options--sesame tuna rice bowl - delectable, fresh seared tuna. Can't wait to go back and next time I'm saving room for dessert

A hidden gem. Amidst the recent renovated plaza hides Avenue Kitchen. An upscale modern delicious restaurant. Brunch is filled with decadent choices such as Creme Brûlée Waffles, caramel apple stuffed French toast with vanilla bean cream cheese. Even their staples like biscuits are amazingly flakey served with fresh honey. The cocktail menu includes great twists on a classic like the Bloody Maria, a spicy Bloody Mary made with chipotle tequila.

Love this place for brunch! The bar is open in the AM! Mimosa pitchers are a little pricey but not a bad pour.

First time will be back ordered goat cheese salad with grilled chicken, tomato soup and chips everything was delicious servings are perfect size . Will definitely be back for other goodies.

Great spot to grab breakfast or even lunch. Quality food and preparation is with care. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended 👍👍

My son was visiting from Washington DC and we met at Avenue Kitchen for brunch to celebrate his 30th. I sent them the menu ahead of time. They were extremely impressed! When the food arrived they were in awe. The big hit was my creme brulee waffles! After our meal my son stated, "mom whenever we come visit we have to always come here." It was my second time dining at Avenue Kitchen and it will not be the last~♡♡♡♡

I was pleasantly surprised and didn’t know this gem existed! I love that you can order lunch and breakfast foods at the same time. The breakfast potatoes are excellent, I love the avocado toast and selection of protein options, the eggs Benedict is great, and just a very high end selection of healthy breakfast foods.

Soooo good! The brûlée waffle is a sugar bomb but very delicious.

All 5 of these stars are for the food. It is clear that whoever is making the food cares a lot about the detail and the menu overall is full of home runs… especially the tacos even the salads are truly amazing and original. The service here is very bad, it feels like nobody cares and there doesn’t seem to be much management or direction. the food is good enough to make me come back again despite the bad service for what it’s worth. This place needs better promotion and service I mean they have alcohol.. great part of town, beautiful inside if this was my place… some intelligent marketing and a proper manager would solve it all.

Small but gorgeous inside, great service from our waitress. They were very busy but everything arrived fairly quickly. I enjoyed the creme brulee waffle and my husband loved the french toast. Crab beignets were large and flavorful. Will eat there again.

Oh so delicioso! We had the goat cheese app. So yummy! And the specialty Bloody Mary's were perfect. The service was super fast & friendly too. Can't wait to go back and try the brunch menu.

My boyfriend and I came here for date night. It was our first time here and we had a great experience. The food was delicious and our server Taylor was fantastic. She got our food and drinks out quickly, made sure to check in on us throughout our meal and was very polite. We’ll definitely be coming back.
