Ohiopyle State Park Visitor Center

The gift shop is tiny, but adequate. The maps and resources available are great. The real treasure is the downstairs portion and the detail that went into creating the museum experience. Great view of the river/falls from here as well!

This little gem was a nice surprise. We had some spare time before a visit to Fallingwater and had no idea this beautiful area was just minutes away. The displays downstairs were really great. Maybe I'm weird, but I thought the glassed in display room of the plants and biological filtration for their waste water was really cool.

Best , well maintained , clean restrooms , just near the Ohio Pyle water falls. View from the deck on visitor center to water falls is nice. A great place for a photo on your fridge. Lot of car parking space. You will be able to enjoy the scenic Ohio Pyle falls working 50 feet and another trail will take you to cucumber falls about 25 min time. Lot of local food , souvenir shops , restaurant and a nice little town for a walk around this visitor center.

Make a visit during the peak fall season.
The white water rafting shall be fun here with book biking and walking trails around.

Pretty cool that they are open year round. We needed a place to get out of the biting cold. And dabble in scenes of summer. Artistic, realistic displays of this beautiful area. I ought to know, since I grew up in this area and know the locality well. Go Ohiopyle, nice work!

It's an amazing, Amazing trail. But please be sure it's not an easy hike for all. Lots of rocks, up and down, cliff sides, my amazing gf mom 70s made it so it's all doable but very pretty and worth it to see cool cucumber falls but you can loop it past cucumber to the gorge pass to the trail back to town.

We saved the cucumber falls to the end and did start with gorge to trail, town, lunch there, visitor center, to yellow trail to end with cucumber falls. Worth the all day trip to finish the day with burgers and hotdogs at our local BnB.

A ton of information on Ohio State Park can be found here. They have different things inside you can interact with and an amazing view of the waterfall outside. You can also get maps here for the park.

Lots of cool information here and interactive learning. The windows on the back overlook a waterfall. Clean and tons of pamphlets with things to do! Cucumber Falls is a great place to check out, only about a 10 minute drive and a short hike. Beautiful place to be.

Beautiful hiking on ferncliff trail

Such a fun place! You can hike and swim within this natural beauty. They have an education center that is extremely clean, bathrooms and trails of the same standards. A must see!

Water level was very high, hearing the rushing currents of the water over the fall was amazing! Can't wait to go back and explore more!

What a beautiful little town. We happened ti go during snow squall weather but we did walk around a little bit. Very quiet and serene. I bet it’s gorgeous in warm weather. Clean fun atmosphere

They have this wonderful area downstairs that has information and displays of the wildlife. There is also a room with floor to ceiling windows that ley you look up and down the river.

Absolutely love it here. So peaceful just listening to the water. It's a must see

One of my favorite state parks in Pennsylvania. They have various attraction points.

if you are new to the park, this is a great place to start. Staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Restrooms are always clean.

This park is amazing. If you get a chance I recommend making a trip here.

Beautiful visitors center. Fun to go through the basement and learn more about the area. Restrooms are clean and remain opened even when the remainder of the center is closed. Drinking fountain and water bottle refill station available next to the restrooms.
