Beautiful preservation of a piece of history and kid-friendly. Interpretive panels and physically accessible for exploring. Important part of PA history.

Very well preserved iron furnace. The furnace portion is still there. The mill race has been obscured and the upper portion that led to the top of the furnace is no longer in existence. However, looking above the hill you can see the foundation stones that were required for the upper structure. Very cool!

Old iron furnace, informative plaques that explain the process and showed what the furnace looked like when it was in use. Very nice half hour experience.

Really cool place. It's a fifteen minute stop but it's a really nice park and curiosity.

This is a great area to Deer hunt, I've been hunting this area since 1970. It's Forbes Forests most of the way down to Eliotsville.
