Elegante Restaurant & Pizzeria

Stopped off for lunch. Had pierogies and hot sandwiches. The food was hot and tasted very nice. Big portions, had to take half of my sandwich home. The waitress was very friendly and made us feel at home.

Had my wedding catered this past weekend and everyone is still raving about the food!
We got the linguini with white clam sauce, chicken parm, tortellini with sun dried tomatoes and pine nuts, Chicken francese, tomato mozzarella and basil salad, roasted potatoes, and bruschetta!
Can’t beat the price either!

Very friendly people. Amazing food and fast service!!! We only got 1 messed up order and it's because the girl who answered the phone can't hear for nothing so she screwed up the entire thing but that was the only time my food wasn't perfect!!!!

Elegante catered our Holiday party at our office. We ordered the chicken francese, stuffed shells, meatballs, spinach rolls, fried ravioli, anitpasto salad, mozarella/tomato salad, broccoli and red roasted potatoes. We normally have quite a bit of food left over but we did not have much left after this party. Everyone enjoyed it that much. The only thing we were not thrilled with was the fried ravioli got soggy, but that is only because they do not travel well in the catering tin. Other than that I would not have changed a thing. The food was excellent! Will definitely use again for other events.

Big fan of their pizza. The dough is crisp but soft. Just the right combo of sauce and cheese. If you like valley pizza this isn't it to be clear. Had the best chefs salad ever from there!

Best pizza around!! My kids and I have tried other pizza shops around and always come back to Elegante's. Our go to pizza shop. It helps that everyone is so very friendly as well. We couldn't ask for a better pizza shop.

Good pizza and atmosphere and friendly staff. The pizza was a little undercooked which may be a detriment to some but I did enjoy it very much.

I attended a luncheon after a funeral here and the food was excellent. The servers were all very nice and they made sure everyone was taken care of. The roast beef was so soft and delicious. I don't think I've ever had roast beef that was that good! All around had a very good experience!

Service and atmosphere has always been friendly and the updated decor is gorgeous... Love their pizza. Always made to perfection..I have tried many pizza restaurants, even elegantes in Honesdale but prefer the pizza in Forest City more...
Will certainly return again

The best Italian American plates and pizza in Forest City...not to be confused with the restaurant of the same name in Honesdale. But the owners know each other and keep consistent quality in both locations.

Not from the area, was up visiting family. Wanted to get some pizza and nieces recommended this place. Pizza was really good, also enjoyed their garlic knots.

“I just tried the garlic knots with the sauce and it was AMAZING!!!!” - said by me and my 2nd cousin. We will definitely be making it back here.

Tony's pizza is the very best. The eggplant parm is just wonderful. Spaghetti is just great!
