Cozy and clean little restaurant. Very quiet atmosphere - plenty of room between tables. Serves breakfast all day and offers an extensive menu for lunch and dinner. Waitress was sweet and attentive. We ordered the chili, crispy Chicken Salad , turkey club and fries - all freshly made. they were busy at 3pm on a Thursday which says alot about the food and staff. My hubby said the chili was really good and he liked his club sandwich. My fries were really good and the salad was fresh and big - no leftovers. We come through here a few times a year on our way to Towanda and will definitely stop again. Plus we only paid $34 for all the food and one beverage- I always get water. Enjoy.

Love this restaurant. The food was amazing, but the service was lacking. Had to wait quite a while for a coffee refill and then for our check. Other waitresses would walk right by holding a coffee pot and wouldn't stop to fill our cups we placed at the end of our table. Some places the wait staff work together other places don't. Still love the place!

Unique rooster decor. We were greeted and seated immediately. Great service and food. My wife had the Blue Berry Pancakes with Lemon Sauce and really enjoyed it. I ordered the Skillet breakfast which starts with a base of fried potatoes with onion and peppers, a layer of meat, I choose sausage, a layer of scrambled egg and then american cheese. Everything was hot and delicious.

The Red Rooster Family Restaurant was a pleasant dining experience, with a relaxing country atmosphere and plenty of breakfast choices!

The ham and cheese omelette was very good. One can have a choice of 2 buttermilk pancakes or toast ($.49 extra for sourdough toast). The waffles were large and fluffy, with your choice of fruit, and were quite filling.

We arrived at 9:30 a m. on a Saturday morning, and the place was busy, but not packed, which was surprising to some members of my party. Perhaps summer vacations accounted for a full house. Nevertheless, we didn't wait long to be seated, and the service was fairly prompt and the coffee was plentiful.

Give this place a try. There are specials on the menu, and the large variety of eggs and pancakes will likely entice one to return often.

We were new to the area to go hiking at Ricketts Glen and found this great diner on our way. We were really surprised by how good the breakfast was. I got a toasted blueberry muffin and sausage egg an cheese and they both packed a lot of flavor. Very nice staff and local people

This is by far one of my most favoritest places to eat! My hubby and I come here every Friday night. We also like to stop in over the weekend at least twice a month for breakfast. Great waitstaff super attentive . Love this place !!

This is a restaurant that is worth going back to. The food is delicious but cheap and our waitress was really nice and professional. In fact, everyone that worked there seemed really nice. You get huge portions of food so it's definitely worth it. Overall, great place to eat.

I was there for breakfast and the food was good and the service was good. I'd recommend the place. And the menu is pages long. You can also get breakfast or lunch anytime of the day which is nice.

Great food. Grill was excellent, fries perfect. Look like homemade pickle chips. Deserts also look homemade but didn't try. Lovely service.

They have really good chipped beef but small portion!.. service was excellent and food was great! I recommend this diner!!... under 25.00 for 2 was a nice change...

OMG...what a hidden gem! Have driven by this place on our way from here to there but this time stopped. Was so worth it....homemade meals, desserts and adult beverages.

Good food and staff, definitely a place to go to eat..

We stopped on our way to Scranton pa. The food was great service excellent. Portion were huge. Couldn't finish my omelet. The other plate was my husband's ham and Turkey club.

This place rules. Breakfast was good and priced very fair for what you got.

Found this place after visiting Ricketts Glen State Park. Food was great and the atmosphere was cute. I stuck with a burger because I'd never been there before, but I'd be interested in trying something new if I get to stop by again! The drinks are served in little mason jars too :)

Wow! This place is fantastic! The rooster decor is fun and eye catching. The food is a solid A++++. The staff is friendly and makes you want to go back for more!

This place is nostalgic, as it hasn’t changed much since I first visited as a kid. My family and I like to stop in breakfast. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially kind to children. They brew their own iced tea, and it’s a delicious simple classic. Pancakes are the best in the area!

Very nice dinning room decor. The food is great and the pie was delicious! Waitress was friendly. Will be coming back.
