Imagine getting a ticket (which you rightfully deserve and intend to pay) while you are traveling across the country to visit family in Toronto. Only to get stopped by what was the nicest officer, who helped you out and was nice and understanding. Only to spend the next 9 days unable to reach the judges office to pay the ticket (it's not online as officer was the unlucky straw picker who had to have the non electronic ticket writer). You go to the unsportsmanlike site and there is still no record of the ticket. You call the judges office every hour trying to get the amount on the ticket (officer wasn't able to provide it at the time) but no one answers. You're 1500 miles away and now looking at getting a warrant for your arrest since you have no idea how much you need to pay on the ticket and no one in the city is able to help ( tried the main courthouse, police department, and this judges office) , all because this is the only judges office that can get you the dollar amount on the ticket you received so you can send payment overnight and pay even more money to make sure your cardrecord stays clean. Do not have an issue in this city/town especially if you are traveling through, because it just might go this same way for you.
