Paper Mill Pines Bed and Breakfast

This was the perfect BNB experience all around. The home and property are nothing short of magical. The owners are so personable and kind. The food was delicious. The home smells incredible. Every detail is full of warmth and love. The coffee bar on the second floor was a lovely touch. The outdoor seating is amazing and the views were spectacular. Even the house cat, Tyrion, was oh so friendly and welcoming :) Can’t recommend this place enough. Five stars hardly covers it! This is hospitality at its best!

Stayed from Nov 17-20. Wonderful stay. The hosts were amazing and welcoming as well as the other guests that stayed for the weekend. Highly recommend to those who want to explore the more natural side of Pennsylvania.

Beautiful bed and breakfast. Donna and Al are fantastic hosts. We loved everything from a delicious breakfast, a nice and clean room to a gorgeous backyard. Very quiet, a great place to unwind. It deserves more than 5 stars. Located in a beautiful part of PA, close to Ricketts Glen state park and more. We highly recommend.

Al and Donna are great people and they really love what they do! They do whatever it takes to make the stay enjoyable! I grew up in the area and I never knew this place was here. I came back to visit family and had the opportunity to stay here and I am glad I did! Keep in mind it’s in the country, off the beaten path if you will. To me that’s part of the charm of this place, it’s away from all the hustle and bustle plus it’s quiet, not a hotel setting with all the banging and slamming going on. They have a path to walk through nature and around the lake. I saw several deer and a few turtles as well. An eagle’s nest is close by too! It’s great to hear the history of the old paper mill and the Huntington Mills area. Great experience!!

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in a very special place. The owners here are running a quality business!! Attention to detail is top notch. Loved every second of our stay! Property, room and breakfast all fantastic! Our dog Clark felt right at home here too! We all enjoyed the fire at night looking up at the stars. Thank you Donna, and if I can get away from my busy work schedule we will be back real soon!

One of the best bed n breakfasts I've ever been to. Breakfast was just continental but the lodgings and the grounds were really nice. Rooms were very nice , airy and clean.

This B&B sets the standard for outstanding accommodations, grounds, amenities, and hospitality. Our family booked all 3 rooms, and each was outstanding - tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and meticulously maintained. Donna and Al are awesome hosts, and their attention to detail is unmatched by any other place at which we have stayed. Our 6 day stay was a wonderful experience and we definitely plan to return.

My family stayed for a full week, and it was an awesome experience that we would definitely do again! Donna and Al were so accommodating, and awesome people to have conversation with. Their B&B was beautiful and very clean, and came with all of the amenities you could possibly need. The rooms were comfortable and wonderfully decorated. I liked the AC units in each room, so that each person could personalize how cool or warm their room was. Breakfasts were delicious! They have a gorgeous property that is great for just having a relaxing day enjoying the pond, the large patio, and a nice fire in the evening. My family would definitely stay again, and we very much enjoyed the week that we stayed. Highly recommended!

This B&B is a gem! The minute my boyfriend and I walked in, Donna, Al and Mia gave us a warm welcome. Donna has really thought of everything and you can see the amount love she has put into the property. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean! The upstairs has a coffee bar with snacks and waters. The breakfast was delicious and filling. This B&B is very well situated with many wineries within a 20 minutes drive. Will definitely be back! :)

This place was awesome to stay at. It was immaculately clean and the bedrooms were large in size and very comfortable to stay in, each with it’s on private bathroom and shower. The backyard setting overlooking the lake was tranquil. We loved it here and will be back again in the future.

This B&B allows pets and is very convenient and close to Ricketts Glen. It comes complete with a pond, gazebo, pavilion, fire pit and more. My wife and furbabies had so much fun exploring the grounds and having coffee with an amazing view of the pond. The owner's made us feel right at home and cooked us an amazing breakfast and even started a fire for us so all we had to do was sit back and relax. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

We stayed at Donna and Al’s beautiful B&B after a strenuous day of hiking in Ricketts Glen State Park. This was our first time ever staying in a B&B and I fear that our bar is now set so high no one else will ever be able to top this experience. Donna and Al have thought of EVERYTHING! There are so many great little touches in the bedroom and in the shared spaces. The outside of the property is fantastic as well. What a beautiful pond! We loved our fire pit conversation with Donna and Al. They even made us dinner reservations at a local place! Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. We talked about the blueberry pancakes all the way home! Donna and Al are exceptional hosts and wonderful people. We can’t wait to come back!

We can't recommend a stay at the Paper Mill Pines B&B enough. Accommodating hosts on a beautiful property with plenty of privacy or opportunity to socialize. If you're staying to hike Ricketts Glen, you're a very convenient 15 minutes away from the lower parking lot. The breakfast was generous and the optional s'mores around the fire pit were a very nice touch. In fact, this place is full of nice touches. Truly an excellent place to spend some time. Thanks!

Great place for relaxation ! Donna and Allen are a wonderful hostess. Everything is beautiful and very clean. Donna makes great breakfast, and she decorated the house perfectly!
The outdoor is wonderful, the lake and the yard are very beautiful and to spend the mornings and evenings there is super relaxing.

Wow! What a beautiful, peaceful secluded place. My dogs and my fiancé and I adored it. I so wish we could have stayed longer, i was sad to leave. The breakfast was delicious. What a wonderful experience and absolutely wonderful people that own it . Thank you for the experience !

We found this gem when I was searching for places to stay for our anniversary weekend near Ricketts Glen. It did not disappoint. If you are looking for a reasonably priced stay near Ricketts Glen on a gorgeous property with lovely rooms and delicious weekend breakfast, this is your spot. We are avid hikers and love the Ricketts Glen area. Breakfast in the morning sustained is for our hikes. It was relaxing to come back to our room, take a bath, sit by the fire pit outside (s'mores provided), and wind down in the common room with some games. It is a quiet country side area. Donna and her husband are great hosts and provide extra tips about the area if you need them. Happy hiking.

Last minute booking and it turned out to be one of the best places I've ever stayed. The host surprised us with "extras" that made the stay fantastic. The house as a whole was beautifully kept, rooms very clean and the entire house was very well built. You would never know there were other guests. Breakfast was spot on and the best part? They have 1 night stays available which is great for city goers who need 1 day get aways. Come here, enjoy the peace and the hosts!

We had the best weekend here celebrating our 1 year anniversary! Very close to the beautiful Ricketts Glen. Donna and Al are such gracious hosts, go above and beyond to provide a great stay. Donna had flowers in our room for us when we arrived for our anniversary. Their entire home is so cozy and beautiful, feels like a home away from home.

An absolutely fabulous place. My cousi s and i were in all 3 bedrooms vor a long weekend for a t0th wedding anniversary family get together. Home is beautifully decorated. Breakfasts are divine. Grounds are perfectly groomed, peaceful and even had a visit from a deer. Great family room with coffee, beverages and snacks. Host Donna and hubby could not be more gracious. Totally accommodating, friendly and eager to help. I cant wait to stay again.
