Great little gun store, I've been doing business there for almost 40 years. The service is always top notch and John and Don are a wealth of knowledge.

Sauers was an awesome little shop. Great selection, great staff. Everyone was so friendly. The gentleman helping me was very knowledgeable and had character. I would recommend anyone go here and purchase. You're treated well.

Bought 4 rifles from them with great deals on all of them. Beat any prices online and the service is great!

Very friendly I go to college near Sauers and this is the only place I will buy ammo and guns from. They treat you like family.

Great little place ! Great welcoming and personable staff, they have helped me with decisions and purchases and not just for a bigger sale, they truly care and they could have sold me stuff that was higher priced but didn’t because they realized it wasn’t what I needed and sold me something that was more suitable to my needs ( even though they could’ve sold me the more flashy and expensive one it wasn’t what I needed and they realized this and talked to me about my needs and not just the sale) and it’s because of they way they have treated me and have taken care of my needs, I will be a customer for life, again a great shop and staff !

I love this place ! It's the only place that I get my guns and gear. They are super friendly and willing to answer just about any questions you might have.

I have been buying from Sauers Trading for a little while now. Every time I stop in to see what he has, he and his son (who is usually there also) always treat me very well. I try and stop in regularly to see what he has gotten in because it never seems to stay in his store long. Everyone seems to buy them up quickly. His prices are also very good. I have never had a bad experience there.

We had to transfer a pistol and they were great. Very efficient and helpful. Law abiding as well.

Terrific service and extremely friendly. The place is a bit cluttered but that is part of its charm. I had a gun shipped to them from Buds Online and Sauers could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Also the owner has a sweet dog in the shop with him all the time and any store that has a dog on staff is ok in my book!

Honest, friendly owner with a great pricing. He doesn't look down his nose at you like other places I've gone around here I won't name but if you've been and you don't look a certain type, you know where I'm referring to. The other place you'll hear about is pretty much IMO a bunch of kids trying to charge an arm and a leg for guns, some of which had flaws they didn't take the time to inspect. Sauers is the place to buy a firearm.

I have purchased many handguns and rifles over the past years. Having experience buying from other dealers, I will never buy from anywhere but Sauers. Jon and Don have superior customer service and make customer satisfaction their main goal. They go above and beyond to get the handgun gun you are looking for, in a timely fashion, and ensure you are taken care of before walking out the door.
I have had issues walking into the shops of other dealers in the area and there is just constant bad-mouthing and negativity spreading through the shop. You will find none of that at Sauers. They are friendly, courteous and helpful; all while providing you with the best pricing and product around.

It's Great to stop into a locally owned business, and hear stories about your parents, and other family members growing up. They treat me MORE than fair every time I go in. If they don't have what you want... they will get it. Knowledge beyond belief. Top notch in my book, I would recommend stopping in just to say hi, and look around.

Sauers Trading is a smaller shop, more oriented towards hunting rifles and equipment. Mr. Sauers was very helpful and friendly, and I have done business with him several times. He has given me free ammo with gun purchases on occasion. Every purchase I have made from him has been satisfying.

I've been going here since I was a kid with my dad. Good shop for guns and ammo. You never know what you're going to find and John gets new stuff in all the time. I've bought lots here over the years and will probably buy lots more in the future.

Overall the best place to buy firearms in the williamsport area. I have bought firearms here for nearly 25 years and usually if its here it is a great deal. It is not as clean as a hospital but the service is great and if its in the case for sale the price is probly cheaper than anywhere else. If you make a bad decision and need to unload a firearm you get treated fairly well too, the guy has to make a living too really! If you want a family friendly pristine store loaded with every gun under the sun then go to gander mtn or the other big box stores. But if you want excellent service someone who knows you by name and willing to make a great deal nearly all the time then this is your kinda place. Nuf said!!!

Honestly its the only place ill ever go. Theyre soo respectful and honest. They have good prices and personalities. They're good people. Any time ive had issues or questions on my guns they didnt hesitate. The only place i refur my friends to.

Prices are nice and low. The fella at the store was incredibly kind and helpful. Bought myself a lovely powder horn.
